Can anyone explain this to me:

" Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances."

If this happens before London and all, that ain't the final chance. Won't we like talk to these guys before we sprint to hug harbinger?

Maybe it offers one FINAL chance because, I don't know, it's the LAST DLC?

I think the announcement is speaking in RL chronological terms. For players this will be the last new content they experience concerning these characters.

Yeah, it's probably a meta "final chance" instead of a literal one.

Feed me your tears you delusional people who thought it was going to be ending DLC after BioWare time and time and time and time again said they are DONE with the ending.

I'm still wondering why we were EVER TOLD to keep our save files. Now we know why. For some R&R on the citadel! YEAH!

I really don't think it will be post-endings.

"There are no surprises and no lies when we say that we are not making any ME3 end/post-end DLC. Citadel takes place mid-game." - Jessica Merizan

I made a post that has since been closed where I speculated the DLC will be post-ending.   Turns out,  Bioware cant figure out how to word their announcements without causing a lot of butthurt.  I think it was a tactical choice of words now,  albeit it,  a low blow,  to sell more.  There is no other explination.

I have another one: fans have plugged their ears for months and went "lalala!" as BW repeatedly said no ending content. There's no other explanation for why "post-ending" DLC was ever a suggestion.

All good things must come to an end, and that includes the Commander Shepard trilogy. However, just because it is coming to an end, that doesn't mean we can't go out with a bang. Introducing the final Mass Effect 3 single-player DLC: Citadel!

When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives.  Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel will release worldwide on March 5th on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 (on March 6th on PS3 in Europe).

Maybe the should have let people speculate a lot about something that has been conclusively ruled out?

So this thread pretty much shows video game fans will decry anything no matter how little proof is available.

And to think, just a few weeks ago there were threads pleading for romance and character dlc.

The formal wear and smiles for everybody in the first picture is indicative that the war is over. This looks like a clear-cut happy celebration, I mean, wrex is all dress up for gods sake, if this is not post-ending bioware did a really sadistic and cruel scene, happy romance scenes coliding with the original bitter sweet and anxious romance scenes, and dot get me started with the decoration stuff just when shepard is about to hunt illusive mans head.

If this is no post-ending, is plain nonsense.

Even though it's supposed to take place before London, I wonder if there's a way to play it after MEHEM. That would almost fix the game. It would be interesting to see how many people ignore London altogether and play this like a post ending mod.

Its not post-ending.   Period.  Yes its lame.  Yes,  Bioware didnt fully listen.   Time to move on.   I suggest poking fun at their expense.

I am so excited that I am literally bouncing. I just can't wait. I must play this with all my Sheps. I'm even doing a new playthrough now just so I can enjoy this with my latest Shep. So happy. Especially, if I get new romance content. So deliriously happy.

Well, taking the great Zaeed once again for one final epic run is reason enough for me. Zaeed Forever!

Don't get me wrong most of what I love about this series are the characters and the interactions with them, but I dont quite understand what all this interest is about wanting romance dlc? Why is that kind of content so wanter by such a big part of the fan base? Why would people want to pay for something like that?

I find some of the best dialogue to be in the romances. Plus, it's only natural - speaking of romance in fiction in general - for the player to want two characters to get together if he finds their character background/development compelling.

That wasn't my question though. You could do MEHEM, then load a separate save before the start of SimCitadel and take that as a new ending.

Fair enough. I guess for me personally i enjoyed the romance part of it but felt as though i was just doing it because it was something that seemed like it would fit with the game, if it wasnt there it probably wouldnt have made much difference to me.

I guess I just enjoyed his overall friendly interactions with his squad and his friendships. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though I won't argue that
