Well I'm looking forward to it, especially the "more time with your love interests" part, because you can't give me enough 'mobroShep+Kaidan time. Frankly, that plus the 'furnish an apartment on the Citadel' thing sounds to me a bit like... SimMass Effect? I dunno, I have visions now of "break out the whiskey and lock the door," and everything from Thessia onward happening in Shepard's imagination as they lay in bed, oblivious to the worlds outside that could be held in stasis for all they know.

The last bit of your post doesnt make sense, How can anyone stop you enjoying the game and dlc? You could just play the game and not read these threads....problem solved. 
1200mp, Standalone mission, Pew pew cerby, go ikea for furniture, get bored when its complete, then continue on the walk of shame to pick your fave color which in turn completely destroys the citadel dlc...sounds so appealing:bandit:

So the Captain's cabin wasn't good enough for Shepard...now he gets an appartment on the Citadel. Get the Catalyst to move in and let the hijinks begin.

Yeah I dont really get the apartment thing. In 2 of the 3 endings Shepard gets to enjoy it for about couple of nights game time maybe, before he either gets spread around the galaxy or before the apartment becomes a part of him.

Says the person whos argument is "Your car is broken?  Gears flew off in the last 10 minutes of your ride home?  Go make your own car company".   What an amazing argument.  As consumers,  its our right to complain if we're given something not as promised.   I've never once complained about the ME series until the release of ME3.  MAYBE there is some merit to all this complaining and you just choose to keep your head in the sand.   I care not - what I do care about is some nitwit telling me I should go make my own game company because I'm unsatisfied with a product I purchased.

actually i was pointing out that people are bashin a dlc that has yet to come out for us. It has only been announced. I was also asking why people were condemning it when it has yet to come out if their opinion has to do with their like or dislike of the ending of the game.

Good point Drewton. And thank you for answering my question. As it was, when i wrote that I just didn't understand the why of condemning the dlc. It makes sense.

It seems most of the discontent about the DLC has been about the interactions with LIs/old friends, the casino and the apartment, totally ignoring that there will be a significant mission. If your Shepard doesn't have time/inclination for R&R and has no need of a place to stay during refueling, etc., then don't do that part of the DLC.

"But it won't change the endings" you say? We always knew that would be the case. I do think it will expand the conversation with the Catalyst a bit and may provide more information that could change your opinion on which ending is best for the galaxy.

I remain in anticipation of extended and enjoyable game time.

Well, as I've said earlier, I'd be all over this DLC if Bioware had provided even a single ending I could actually tolerate.  But as it is, they're trying to sell me leather seats for a car who's engine blew up on the way home.

True, I myself would be very satisfied with a slide of Kaidan(LI) and Shepard reunion but that is just me and ofcourse that would require the destroy ending being picked but that's just me. I'm also looking forward to the dlc.

 This sounds like a good DLC, I loved ME2's crew and want to do more on the Citadel.

Hopefully this one makes up for Omega, but tempted to wait before purchasing...

Is it a reward from the council for saving them, the station and the galaxy once again?

It has been explained that the Keepers were designed by the Reapers to be mere minions to welcome and operate the Citadel to make sure species don't find out the true purpose of the station itself. You can wiki it on the Mass Effect wikia.
