Citadel will take place anytime after the Citadel coup and before London on Earth.

Before london or before Priority: Cerberus Headquarters?

I think he meant Cerberus. Seems awkward otherwise.

"The Citadel is the Catalyst"
"Lets hurry to the Citadel, so we can chill at my apartment"

Yeah i guess you're right.
Still not much space for Thane content.:(

Yeah, well... I'm gonna go make my own game, with blackjack and hookers. In fact, forget the game!

(/joke)

As of now with the reveal of the new DLC I'm not impressed. I'll continue lurking around here until I can get a review or a summary for the DLC from a fan. Yeah I'm one of those people who wanted a different ending than the one we got. So much so that I've only played through the game once and checked out the EC when it came out. Wasn't for me so after that kind of just let go of the game except when a new DLC has been released. Then I've been all ears. Still haven't bought any DLC for ME 3 and I'm saddened by it.

I really want to love this game and it really is good until the end. Sure it had it's problems but I enjoyed it until the end. Which just left me empty and the EC didn't fix that. I'm truly happy for you who can enjoy the game I really want to enjoy it too but as I said it just wasn't for me.

To get on the topic at hand this DLC looks like something that adds something fun and entertaining to the game sure and I'll read the summaries of it and then make my final decision but at this moment I'm not being optimistic about it. Don't want to get my hopes up if it turns out to be something that I don't have interest in given the ending(yes it all comes back to that)

Ok I have a gigs question! :)

It says my 360 currently has 3.0 gigs.. left? Citdael takes 4?

So what can I delete to make more room?

I understand that. I don't hate the ending, I was more confused by it than anything else. In that case i hope this new Dlc will respark your interest in the game since you've said you want to like the game.

This DLC sounds like it would have been really awesome after the ending.

I'm all for squadmate interactions, LI content, more story driven DLC.

When it all ends in flames with no resolution, what's the point? Once I finish it and have myfuntimes with the squad, I get to look forward to RGB and catalyst.

Is Mass Effect the only game you have loaded? If so, you may need to upgrade your memory. I had Oblivion on my drive and it took massive amounts of space, so I removed that entirely.

the problem is that that could only happen with 1 ending. And is it fair that they only add extra content for one ending?

I do like the fact that there is going to be a mission, and it's going to involve all of my old squaddies. R&R on the Citadel is nice, and some of the interactions would be very fun.

I only have a few worries. I worry that it will only be my squaddies, not say, other characters within the ME Universe that grew on me, even more than some of my squaddies (Looking at you, Jacob). Kirrahe, Gianna Parasini, Matriarch Aethyta, and more. If this is an ending of Commander Shepard's story, it should be about all of the people he's met. Maybe Gianna and Atheyta can't be part of the mission (Kirrahe could, no excuses, Bioware), but they could be part of the casino, and interactions in the living quarters, and such.

Another is about Wrex. He's featured quite predominately in the marketing material thus far. But I killed Wrex, and usually kill Wrex. I much prefer Mordin and he friggin pulled a gun on me after all I did for him. I better not get this whole guilt trip of "We should have saved Wrex" in the interactions.

Just had a thought: perhaps it's Harkin that is behind this conspiracy? He can't be killed in ME1 or ME2, and there was no resolution with him in ME3 (yet).

Then what's the point of living if you are going to die anyway? Spend more time in this amazing universe with its finest characters is more than enough for me to buy this dlc.

Wardens being a possible stand-in did not stop Awakening from working out, now did it...?
Squaddies meeting up after everything is said and done to honour the deceased Commander would make certain sense for Blue and Green, and far as we are told the area added by this DLC can be revisited after the main-mission is done...so why not include that?

That's an idea.

My Shepard let Garrus shoot him as revenge for him calling him princess (that scene actually has full vo)

There's a reason why I don't want to know the exact time and place that I will die.

Anyone recognize the symbol on the left dudes arm?

Could it be a simplified image of the Citadel Tower? I can't find a decent image of the building other than this one. So I'm wondering if these are some kind of Elite Citadel troops, the "Council Guard" or something like that. Speculationz...

Okay, I don't mean to spam this issue - because no one else seems to care apparently - but the logo on these soldiers is definitely related to the Citadel Tower building. Look at the similarity with this image of the Human Embassy logo (via HTL).

When I was playing Leviathan, it also reminded me of the MSV symbol that's all over the world where Leviathan resides

Even Joker and Shepard think the new DLC sounds ridiculous!

Joker: "Hey Commander, check it out! Big news! The new Blasto movie is breaking opening week records! There's also a big expose on quasar tournaments, tips on how to make your apartment look bigger, and...oh yeah, a big ass Reaper invasion. These people have no idea."

Shepard: "Sometimes I think this whole Citadel is a mistake."

Yeah, the similarities are pretty funny.

This DLC really makes makes even worse for me what I thought was one of ME3's major problems...being too disconnected from earth from the beginning to end. You don't even see a picture of earth the entire time. Like I've said before, I can't see Shepard decorating his apartment or taking a few days to party, when earth is burning, like Shepard's just forgetting about it. It doesn't even fit with what's already in the game.

This should be saved for a victory celebration.

Welp

Seeing as the whole "Group meet up thing" is NOT after ending I guess i can't make my Shepard the traumatized mentally instability man who thinks all the destruction he has seen was his fault then becomes dirt poor drinker who remains separated from his L.I and friends due to the fact he can't cope with the crushing reality of his actions then the DLC ends with Shepard offing himself

But as long we get more Kasumi......i guess i'll be happy.

PLEASE include Morinth in this DLC!

She's my favorite Mass Effect character, was my SQUADMATE in ME2, personally helped me take over the Collector Base in addition to numerous other heroic missions, and gets such a terrible appearance in ME3! SO PLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEE include Morinth in this DLC! I won't have closure for this trilogy if my all-time favorite Mass Effect character doesn't get any screen time or dialogue!

Can the sarcasm. They did. Citadel DLC has much of what fans wanted, except ending things (and that's not really a surprise, right?). That they can't cater to the 0.5% of players who recruited Morinth should be rather obvious. For the same reason, I don't expect to see Mordin. Too many players cured the genophage (I think it was 97% in the big poll by masseffectuniverse.de).

As for criticizing the R&R aspect of this DLC: First, there will be a plot and missions. Second, even the best soldiers can't be on mission 24/7. R&R time for Shepard makes sense, and if you're a war hero with the fate of your civilization on your shoulders, you deserve some downtime and some extra space for yourself.

Not to mention that the Crucible's build time is measured in months. Given the number of missions in the game, Shepard's got a lot of days off.

And let's not even get into how ME1 had all this R&R stuff too while literally calling the main plot a Race Against Time.
