As for criticizing the R&R aspect of this DLC: First, there will be a plot and missions. Second, even the best soldiers can't be on mission 24/7. R&R time for Shepard makes sense, and if you're a war hero with the fate of your civilization on your shoulders, you deserve some downtime and some extra space for yourself.
+1. Also, emotional resolution is important. You can't have a story where the tension is constantly over 9000, people get tired of that. And bored. You need to have breather moments. Much of Mass Effect's strength is in its characters, and more interaction with them is never a bad thing.

Third reason why to stop criticizing R&R...

Can the sarcasm. They did. Citadel DLC has much of what fans wanted, except ending things (and that's not really a surprise, right?). That they can't cater to the 0.5% of players who recruited Morinth should be rather obvious. For the same reason, I don't expect to see Mordin. Too many players cured the genophage (I think it was 97% in the big poll by masseffectuniverse.de).sH0tgUn jUliA wrote...
Don't worry. They listened to the fans.

just wondering if the ME3 romances, like Steve and Samantha, are going to have unique content. Hope I see Samantha off the silly ship.
anyways, I will most likely restart to get this done early.

In particular is Thane actually in it or not? Not just twitter: Thane is complicated and spoilery.
Having a DLC poster with Wrex, Liara, Garrus and Miranda pretty much confirms their extra content.

Yeah, the similarities are pretty funny.
This DLC really makes makes even worse for me what I thought was one of ME3's major problems...being too disconnected from earth from the beginning to end. You don't even see a picture of earth the entire time. Like I've said before, I can't see Shepard decorating his apartment or taking a few days to party, when earth is burning, like Shepard's just forgetting about it. It doesn't even fit with what's already in the game.
This should be saved for a victory celebration.
Ask yourself one major question. Did you care when the same thing happened in Mass Effect 1? If it really bothers you that much, then you shouldn't be able to play any RPG out there right?

In regards to your other point, ME3 is a linear RPG. Games like Skyrim are non-linear and open world and so going off to do other things kind of makes sense. It doesn't in ME3.

Confirmed characters to return so far are ME3 squad (Javik, Liara, Vega, Ash, Kaidan, Garrus, Tali, EDI), Miranda, Samantha, Jack, Steve, Joker, Zaeed, Wrex.john-in-france wrote...
Actually I'd like confirmation of which romances are actually getting expanded on.

Doesn't say "all" anywhere, and while it ain't wrong to think all squadmates will return seeing how many are already confirmed, until we get actual confirmations on each we can't be sure.RussianZombeh wrote...

You can think what you want but don't be disappointed if, say, it turns out Samara & Grunt for example) don't return while everyone else does. Perhaps their actors couldn't make it? Or maybe Dr. Chakwas will not be back? Again, doesn't say "all". So don't take anything for granted until the DLC is hereRussianZombeh wrote...

So playing Quasar and exploring planets is entirely relevent when Saren is going to bring back the reapers? The mission is called a Race against time, but a large part of ME1 is time waisting.
ME3, ME2 and ME1 are all hub based RPGs. You select missions, places to visit from the main hub (normandy). In Me3 there is more lineartity than ME1 yeah, due to the whole mission order thing. But side missions are present, making it an hub based RPG.

Why is there a big price tag and single-player DLC but NO charge for multi-player DLC.
IF this is the last DLC for Mass Effect 3 then I take it that then ALL Mass Effect 3 questions will be answered then. There will NO plot holes in the story and finally a decent ending to Mass Effect 3.

Shepard: "Sometimes I think this whole Citadel is a mistake."
Joker is really awesome. And he is right.

The problem is the timing of the DLC in the game. After Citadel coup = after Thane gets stabbed by Kai Leng.
There is the possibility for those of us who saved Kirrahe in ME, for the fight to default to him instead of Thane. Or for Thane to survive the fight due to XXXX.
