It wasn't my intention to harrass you. Sorry if I came on a little strong, I was just trying to make a point.
Don't worry about it. There's really no need to apologize. No harm was done anyway and besides, to each their own. Now if you'll excuse me... I have to go get my LAZY N7 crew ready for Operation Impact. Nothing but a bunch of slackers I tell you! Lol.

Everyone looks geared up for battle. Interesting!
Geared up for battle? Or... geared up for the battle simulator?

You have until midnight, Bioware, to release a trailer for Citadel or, starting tonight, kittens will die...
I usually lurk these forums but this was worthy of posting. THANK YOU!

With the announcement of "Foundation" and the upcoming release of the "Citadel" downloadable content for "Mass Effect 3," it seems like the perfect opportunity to tie the two pieces together. How are the two connected, if at all?
We've consciously tried to make sure there will be some connections. Without getting into the details, I think the simplest thing to say is, as I said before, we are very character-based in the way we tell stories. We believe the best stories come from having strong characters. If you were to look for what ties them together, I think that would be a good place to start.
I'm very excited to see what the fans think about "Citadel" coming out. I always tell people that we are developers, but we're also fans working here. One of the mandates I set forth for the team when we started working on "Citadel" was, "This should feel like wish fulfillment not just for fans, but for developers. What have I not explored that I've been missing?" Really, just throw it out there and see if it works. I think there are going to be a lot of things in "Citadel" that fans are going to truly enjoy and love and remember. Enjoy!

There are some serious scaling issues there, lol.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that XD

And lighting issues too...just look at the top of Shep's head for the most obvious bit. This looks like sluggish amateur work rather than professional work. The accounnt of the poster could be someone impersonating Tully or is that account verified and we know it's him? I have a hard time believing BioWare would authorize something like this for public release.

Not saying the image itself is bad, since it's a cool lineup. Its just sloppy.

Seems it's meant to be a promotional image for GAME stores. I can only assume the DLC will be sold as a card that can be bought instore (like with map packs and such), and this will accompany it. Probably thrown together by marketing rather than done by a BioWare artist.
I wish there were some official confirmation on it though.

It's definitely him. This is the original tweet. The images seem to be assembled from elsewhere or have mistakes (Miranda's gloves are now fingerless, and there's a white patch on the arm where there normally isn't).

I sure hope you are wrong about them using that....well....garbage on DLC cards, it'll put people off or ****** them off or just give the impression they just stitched something together for the money rather than develop the product with any actual care.....regardless of which is true they sure don't want to create that impression before we even decide whether we want to buy the bloody thing.<_<

I figure it would be an agreeable enough image to people who enjoyed ME2 (which seems to be the most familiar to people), and that's its main purpose.

Anyway; perhaps the reason why Shepard has an apartment is because of this - perfect excuse, no? 'Normandy Repairs'. It'll also explain the R&R. Can't go out fighting Reapers if your ship isn't space-worthy.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before - I'm slowly making my way through the thread but have a sneaky feeling the DLC will be out by the time I catch up lol!

Technical Issues: Investigate a strange occurrence in the combat simulator.
Pretty far fetched but I wonder if that has anything to do with the AI on the Citadel in Mass Effect 1, probably not though. Not that it could be the same AI, but maybe rebuilt or something. To me playing that mission in Mass Effect 1 I thought it was leading somewhere (into a side mission arc like Cerberus, Geth Sightings, etc...) but never came of it.

I don't think so, but I would find it awesome because like you I thought it was leading into a side mission arc. And since you never speak more than like 5 sentences to the AI, it wouldn't need more than 1 or 2 lines in 'Citadel' to remind ME1 players what happended during that mission as well as give new players the necessary background info.

If I recall correctly, that was a concept of a 'renegade' Shepard by Matt Rhodes. Before any details about ME3 were known, he mocked up some ideas for a Shepard tied neither to the Alliance nor Cerberus. The picture is actually Shepard stealing the Normandy back.n0odles wrote...
Does anyone have the ME art book? There's a picture in there; an assassin breaking through Shepard's roof/window on the Normandy. There's a quote in there about how they had wished they could've gotten it into the game.
Neat idea though!
On the subject of the glitch, I am expecting it to be an excuse for throwing up an odd combat scenario that shouldn't be there (like a holodeck gone haywire episode of TNG, maybe?

Correctomundo! Here's the post from Matt Rhodes own blog: Mass Effect 3 concept art:
This was part of a series of images I painted showing Sheppard taking back the Normandy from Cerberus. He has blown open the window on his old captain's quarters.

Cheers guys! Perfect example of 'mum brain' right there - it's what happens to me when I try to swallow as much of the ME Universe (or anything else) - things go in but get jumbled around till I misremember or just completely forget. LOL!
