wrex: hey shepard thanks for curing the genophage. sorry i can't come with you on your mission; i need to lead the clans and fight the reapers........   but if you wanna take a break and throw a party on the citadel hit me up......

Easy enough. There's some sort of summit meeting on the Citadel that just happens to take place when you're doing the DLC mission. If Churchill could fly around to conferences during WW2, why can't Wrex?

Can you play and have all content before attacking the base of the Illusive Man? O's dialogues and scenes are unlockable after X missions?

I want to know to start a new game or keep the current one.

You can probably just do the mission content (a conspiracy against Shepard sounds important enough to look into even mid-war) and skip the R&R if you feel like it's something your Shepard wouldn't do.

Point.

But I don't know, I guess I just expected more.

Maybe I'll change my tune when I see more, but I doubt it. I bought both Leviathan and Omega on day one, but this...

No. No, I think I'm done.

I'm not kidding myself - I was always going to buy any SP DLC, but my hopes for meaningful story content are all but dashed.

Furnish your apartment - then blow it up! Win a fortune at the casino - then die! Spend time with your friends - THEN NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN!

Goddammit Ash, it would have been good.....

Nearly time to walk that last mile....

This.

I'm tired of giving my money up on blind faith. No more. Maybe I'll get it, not saying I won't, but it sure as hell won't be at midnight.

The post-adventure stuff is the part that really interests me here; sounds like they're going all-out to outdo even the Shadow Broker archives from ME2 in terms of pure fanservice.

That seems the right approach for the final chunk of the entire Mass Effect trilogy. Say what you will about the way the series developed, but one thing that BioWare really got right across all three games for me was their ability to create genuine affinity between the players and the characters. Having one last opportunity to clown around with them is something that appeals to me; it really will feel like catching up with beloved old friends, which is a great achievement for any kind of narrative medium. I've had a mixed experience with ME3 and its DLC, but if this is written to the standard of the rest of the trilogy, it'll be a must-buy for me

QUIT IT WITH THE CONSPIRACY THEORY POST ENDING STUFF.

Let's enjoy this for what it is before we fire up the hype train again.

Why not? It's already established that ME3 takes place over several months. Plenty of time there for a little shore leave.

My Shepard didn't even want to sleep after Tuchanka.

Because not sleeping would make the Crucible get finished faster?

No, but finding more war assets might. Point being, it's hard to think of Shepard taking time to furnish a ****ing apartment when the galaxy goes up in smoke.

It's just really jarring to go from:

"I'll sleep when I'm dead"

to

"Hey, Wrex, do these curtains go with this couch?"

Yeah. Makes me slightly sick. I did expect something a bit like this, but man...

Oh well, let it be.

Doesn't fix the endings. Still don't care. *spends DLC money on Warframe beta buy-in*

Well, remember, depending on your ending selection, Shepard can live, as well as your friends... it's just not something we get to see on screen.

I'm picturing Shepard (recovered from injuries) standing in the rubble of his citadel apartment, on the phone with his homeowner's insurance company.  "What do you mean 'Reaper Invasion' isn't covered by my policy!?"

I'm sorry but why would Shepard care or even bother with a conspiracy against him? Everyone trusts him cause he's been telling the truth for however many years. Why would he even entertain a conspiracy?

Well, this with the ME2 squadmate content and a finished MEHEM might bring me back for one final playthrough.

Have to see how it plays, myself. But, again, we're talking months here.

How'd you get through ME1, anyway? Skip most of the content? ME2 works because you can't get at the Collectors until you can.
