Just finished ME1 for the ?'th time. Starting up ME2 (haven't played it in almost a year now!), and then it's onto ME3: I'll be purchasing Leviathan and Citadel, but it looks like Omega isn't worth it from what I've seen and read from the players.
Wait for a sale first before buying Omega. I thought Leviathan was worth it though.

I'm so excited about this. I'm also sad and happy and nostalgic and all the feelings. It's bittersweet. Having Mass Effect been a part of my life for so long and so many friendships I've made because of it is awesome.
And now it's officially over for Shepard.
God I'm excited for this!

It's been confirmed that Zaeed will be in the DLC in some form. Not sure how.
By what it said on wikipedia, it looks like he got to do the voice acting before he passed...

Good for you.008Zulu wrote...
The ending is still the same, so I have lost all interest in this DLC.
I for one will buy because Robin Sachs, the hard work BioWare put into this DLC, and because it's Mass Effect.
Seriously, some of you really can't learn to move on from an ending. Fairweather fans.

pity.
So the last 15 minutes of a 100+ hour series is not as good as it should have. But it is a lot better now with Leviathan and EC, so at least it is bearable. I say just let it go. The trilogy is still amazing, even if 0.25% (the other 99.75% being the 100+ hours before the ending that was great [the ending being ~15 minutes]) of the series isn't.

on topic now. I am excited. This is a definite day one buy.
One thing I hope is that there is a bit of the backstory behind the keepers (like, where they a previously harvested species, where they simply things created by the reapers, etc.).

BUT
I am going to wait for fan "reviews" on the Citadel DLC, I am not doing the same mistake again like I did with Omega DLC

Didnt have time to read all
But hey if the new Casino DLC that has Shep gambling in a Casino is AFTER the catalist happenings then Mehem does no needs to devellop anymore.
Shepard is picked up from earth.. goes with all previous friends to celebrate about the victory on the Reapers. Yes ! YES! then shep can go with his/herfriends to party drink and gamble.
BUT.... if this is a dlc that is somewere in the middle of the war then its no use at all. Shepard is fighting a war against the reapers! There is no time to party..... My Shep will never ever party on the citadel knowing that the war rages on.
Thousands off ppl are dying each day! The Reapers are coming closer and closer to destroy the galaxy and all who live in the galaxy.
My Shep will never ever party on the citadel fully aware that the reapers MUST be stopped!
Only thing my shep would do is blow up the Casino... take all money to devellop and support more Cain weapons.
My Shep only wants ONE thing and that is DESTROY the reapers.
So no time for a party.
BUT however...
If this DLC is after the endings and Shep got digged out of the rumble.. and reapers defeated... YES then my shep would party for 2 weeks long!
I so deeply hope that after all the mess and troubles and plotholes that we went true this DLC is AFTER the endings...
If the DLC is after ending? ( wich i doubt) but If... ?...
Take Care

But I hope they give us back Kasumi’s dress, if I’m getting some alone time with Liara in my fancy new apartment, then I’ll want to be dressed appropriately.

Thanks for the advice. It's a shame because when playing through ME3 back in March it seemed like the Arya sidequest was building up to a cool mission, and a well-done Omega DLC would fill in that hole.

Obviously you didn't read the pre-release statements. It specifically states previous choices affect how the game as a whole plays out. Not the ending. The ending you get is based on your EMS, which fluctuates based on choices. I'd say they lived up to that promise. Just, people were expecting their choices to manifest themselves in the final minutes and have a different ending for each individual choice. If anyone who paid attention during the game, previous choices affected the game as a whole.
Probably set your hopes too high.
I honestly don't get the whole "choices don't matter" argument. The ending may be similar, but the game as a whole can play out very differently, so it's not the same exact story.
