I really relieved as awesome as mplayer is that they not lost their core focus with the new sp dlc..being able to get stuff to purchase to upgrade your captains quarters and being able to revisit the citadel even if it not possible to do so after the ending......and being able to have more options to invite your romance figures AND being able to reunite with surviving squadmates from me2 is awesome and is sure to be the best dlc yet.

In a huge compliment to bioware..i not been as harsh as a large no. of others- more so than was necessary for their previous efforts...i really appreciate the omega dlc and loved leviathan the only shortcoming for dlc was from ashes but even then though it was shortest of all it was cool.

Each dlc brought a different feel to the mass efffect experience. whether it was unveiling an artifact disovering the reapers origin- a great addition to the mass effect story and fitting to learn origin of the reapers and a full blown strategic battle to retake the most hazardous and brutal station in the terminus systems in Omega people need to appreciate more where bioware were coming from each piece was a concluding piece to the jigsaw puzzle to build to this final citadel dlc each had effort and creative energy in different aspects per splayer dlc.

But it is also rather unfortunate war assets and doing these dlc had no impact to the ending a missed opportuity to make dlc's great but still awesome.

As for mplayer dlc it all sounds cool but will this dlc introduce a gazillion more unecessary glitches and frustrating problems for both biotic and tech players? and what happened to the rumoured new game mode and rumoured new earth hazard maps? i much rather that than new charactes with imminent balancing problems weapons seem to shape as the highlight atm we see how that plays out but i sure a lot of you would agree a ig disappointment with no new maps or hazard or even gamemode ey?

Even though its sad to hear that this will be the last DLCs to be released for ME3 I'm still happy that there giving us more DLCs period. If this the end I hope they are already started on another Mass Effect game because I'm hoping there will be another ME with Shepard since It didn't look like it was the end of the road for Shepard in the ME3 ending I saw in fact he seemed to still be pretty much alive.

Shame its coming to an end, Mass Effect 3 is without doubt one of the best if not the best games out there. It's the game me and my mates come back to every week for Mass Effect night on a Monday and play in between individually.

Obviously you didn't read the pre-release statements. It specifically states previous choices affect how the game as a whole plays out. Not the ending. The ending you get is based on your EMS, which fluctuates based on choices. I'd say they lived up to that promise. Just, people were expecting their choices to manifest themselves in the final minutes and have a different ending for each individual choice. If anyone who paid attention during the game, previous choices affected the game as a whole.

Probably set your hopes too high.

I honestly don't get the whole "choices don't matter" argument. The ending may be similar, but the game as a whole can play out very differently, so it's not the same exact story.

Someone didn't want to comment on Thane because it was spoilery and complicated. So I say he will be in the DLC somehow, maybe his death scene changed and moved to later in the game.

EDIT: Found it.

Exciting news, a last hurrah for the Mass Effect Shepard Trilogy. This DLC sounds like it is more character/story based than Omega; which should be great!

As for multiplayer, that image looks like meteors falling on firebase hydra... more hazard versions of the maps perhaps :)

dunno but I got a feeling similar with from ashes rage. Citadel in vanilla game was terribly empty; lots of autodialogues, few chats with squadmates +additional like liara and her 'father'. And now - the citadel dlc with plot, intrigues and so on. hell. wondering how da3 or me4 will look like and what will be their overall cost.

It's been one hell of a ride. Fox News, ending controversies, great moments, mistakes along the road, explosions, storytelling at its finest, but also some weird things here and there...

Thanks for the trilogy BioWare! Looking forward to this final DLC.

I wonder if Garrus as LI in this DLC will at last tell his father about his relationship with a human... hilarity ensues xD

Yeah, though I have to admit there are two things I'm a little worried about:

1. Scope of the DLC. To explain, it is possible that we will get a scene where Shepard and the entire team fight together for the first time, which would be epic, but it seems like something that should have been in Priority: Earth. I'm talking about the similar effect that Arrival had in ME2. Suicide mission and stopping the Collectors kinda seemed less important when you already stopped the almighty Reapers from pouring through the Alpha Relay.

2. Just as I'm afraid of it taking away from the last mission, I'm also afraid it might make other squad interactions with the team on the Citadel look less special (bottle shooting with Garrus, dinner with VS...)

Loving this! Can't wait for some more Garrus LI. And Wrex!
For me, this feels like the cherry on top. I was... disappointed with the original ending. But after the EC came out and fixed the things that bugged me I realized that I wasn't really that disappointed with the ending itself, but rather just sad that Shepard's journey was coming to an end.
I've replayed all three games (twice) post-EC and I can't wait to do it again once this last DLC comes out.
Thank You for bringing this amazing series to us! And as long as we keep replaying, it won't really end, right? Looking forward to the next Mass Effect game. (Also; hooray more MP!)
