Hey guys!

I started a petition to BioWare, asking for a final patch for each of the Mass Effect games that will add a last layer of polish to the series as a whole.  I'm asking for bug fixes, high-resolution textures, and private server support (for when EA will inevitably stop supporting the games).

Please consider reading over the petition, signing it, and posting a link to it wherever you can.  The more publicity we can get, the more likely Casey Hudson will consider planning such a task.

I agree to private servers once EA shuts them down... I would sign but link isnt working for some odd reason...

On to the topic of title. Does anyone know if the DLC will add dialog to the end talking with the little ghost B****? like liviathan did??

What ending exactly? The one where the Aryan humans for another time save the galaxy and live happily ever after to tell tales to their grandchildren while more advanced civilizations (Salarians, Asari on our cycle, Protheans before) can't figure it out and step back so that Commander Shepard aka The Special One can kill the big buddies (da reapers mon), save the galaxy, his / her friends and basically everyone while managing to keep peace between all fractions... and of course live to participate in galaxy wide celebrations.

Seriously aren't you bored of this Hollywood ending already. I mean seriously, how many times? Every single action movie the Hollywood ever produced (with minor exceptions) has this ending. The big white male conquers all (with some colored heroes every now and then to mix it up). God let the man / woman rest in peace already...

I am not saying the ending was awesome because it suffers from various cliches and didn't take the star child idea far enough (I believe if Bioware knew first hand the reactions they would at least give us a truly artistic ending not this half-assed ending that tried to balance between what devs want and what fans want) but I prefer it a million times over the generic, Shepard kills Harbinger in epic final fight while the whole universe waits in anticipation ending that everybody seems to want.

Thanks dude, you have made the endings more favorable to me with this post. I still hate the catalyst with a burning passion but I agree that it's a good idea Shepard didn't really end up being the god touched savior of the Universe, or at least not whithout some major sacrifice. 

I'm actually looking forwards to replaying the game again so I can re-analyse the ending.

One of the few who agree to disagree with people who are still sourely disappointed over the ending and also reasons over it... +rep for Gethkeen
@OP: Huh. I dunno yet if I'll buy it straight away or not. The EC made me a bit happy with ME3 again (it still has some glaring issues, but whatever on that part), Leviathan was interesting (and I guess it's some sort of bridge to the future), Omega looked promising but was kinda... disappointing in the end.
Now I hope that the plot to kill Shephard won't disappoint. The Reapers tried to do so in Arrival already and failed (they underestimated Shephard) but I wasn't 100% happy with how they worked it out. If they can get it up to LotSB quality standards all the better, although I can imagine it might get difficult.
And yay that the Xbox file size limit won't stop a bigger DLC this time  (Who at Microsoft ever thought that glaring error up?)

Unless Bioware is going to change their mind on the 'no changes in the ending'-part, I'm afraid things like that won't happen :/ Oh well, maybe we'll get to hear in a new Mass Effect that Shephard survived etc... Who effin knows.

Nah, they said Shepard is over. Mass Effect 3 is the last game where we know about he. I dont understand why they cant do a normal end. Shepard breathe ok, but what happen after? I think he deserves any more than this last mini-video.

I want something like that, but for the ENTIRE trilogy, plus the special tablet features that the Wii U Mass Effect 3 has as well as bug fixes (ie, that stupid Journal bug that keeps it from starting at the top), update the Mass Effect 1 visuals (or just polish it to where we won't have to watch the textures slowly pop up for 30 seconds after the thing loads), and make it for the Wii U (and release a version minus the Tablet features for the other systems). It is absolutely stupid how the Wii U only has three and lacks the DLC. I'd happily buy Mass Effect on the Wii U if it got a special edition Trilogy Boxset (even if including ALL of the DLC, since EA obviously doesn't want to sell the DLC on the Wii U, makes the price be $99).


On topic, if this Citadel DLC pack is almost 4 GB and if the ~3-4 hour Omega DLC pack was 1.99 GB, does that mean this DLC pack will be 8 hours long???

Re: the possibility of this affecting the ending. I seriously doubt it will given how many times it's been said "the endings are done", it's not impossible that what goes on in this DLC might have an impact on the ending like Leviathan did. But whatevs, I'm just happy there is more Jack.

Starbrat is here to stay. If they say he stays, then that's their call. People don't have to like him but you can't ask them to remove something just because you don't like him or find him annoying. He's just like any other character from any series that is not well favored. Every show or movie has some characters they don't like.

I don't have an issue with the kid, because I understand his motives and don't trust what he says, so I just do the opposite of what he suggests.

TBH I think they could have done the same thing with a booming disembodied voice that with visual indicators that it is the citadel speaking with flashing lights ala rouge Citadel AI ME1 or even Avina with said booming voice ala Leviathan.
