Wreav suits my purpose better anyway....no need for ungrateful traitors like Wrex.

you do realize that Wreav causes a second Krogan rebellion, right? And Wrex keeps the Krogan under control if you keèp him alive. So yeah... You've pretty much f**ked up the galaxy....

First and foremost the extended cut only shows Wreav making his battle cry to the Krogan if the genophage was cured. If the rachni are dead, genophage not cured and Eve is dead Tuchanka is shown as a barren desert. No rebelions to worry about.

Wrex for all his would be wisdom and would be ability to lead never shows any sign of comprehending the Krogan had done any wrong to cause the gennophage, no sign of understanding that their use of asteroids on countless innocent millions drove the other races to desperation and never seems to understand just how violent and vengeful his people are. All Wrex ever does is play the Krogan victim card when the story is quite different. Wrex will only live for so long and Krogan clan leaders never die of old age. By the time he is replaced the Krogan numbers would have greatly grown...talk about a thousand babies from a female per year and billions of females....and the new leader will bring a Krogan rebellion that may well wipe out all other organic races....if Wrex doesn't start the Krogan rebellions first. Wrex  is more diplomatic and knows not to run his mouth like Wreav which makes him impossible to read....if Wrex did plan a second rebellion most would be folled and he sure doesn't lack for desire to inflict harm.

As for Wreav's rebelions...only with the cure....once Krogan forces are fully engaged in the war with the reapers they too are bound to sustain heavy casualties. By the time they find out the genophage isn't cured it would be well after the reaper war ended at which point they just wouldn't have the numbers for anything meaningful. Combine that with Wreav's eagerness to take credit for the cure and guess who'll take the fall when it's not cured?

Without the genophage cure Wreav can't do a thing....so yeah, Wreav suits my purpose just fine.

I'm sorry, what? Wrex wanting to start another Krogan Rebellion? You say he's inscrutable and hiding his "bloodthirst" despite him saying that's not the way forward, and so you immediately assume he's lying and wants to start a second Krogan Rebellion?

And Wreav explicitly states he wants to start a second Krogan Rebellion?

Typical renegarbl.

I kinda hope I can watch an episode of Blasto in Shepard's apartment. I enjoy listening to that episode in the Presidium Commons

He has a point, but I agree that I don't think Wrex wants to start another rebellion. However, Eve does say that he will experience pressure from other Krogan leaders to get revenge.

And Wreav explicitly states he wants to start a second Krogan Rebellion?

Yeah...not directly but he pretty much implies it.

Typical renegarbl.

What?

Anyway,  this thread has gone way off topic I think. :P

I'm betting we will see some content with Thane's son Kolyat. Maybe get to see what he's up to on the Citadel.

So, just saw this.. (I know, been under a rock, apparently)

This sounds like pretty much most of what I wanted out of the endgame or post-game from ME3, but never expected. So awesome, I'm in. :) It's got a conspiracy and investigation, which I was really hoping for something along those lines. It's got more of the citadel, which I always want to see. It's got Shep's apartment, which I was really kind of hoplessly hoping we might see, so cool. Most important, it's got a lot of content with all the companions, old and new, and LI content. Fantastic! :-) I's happy and I'll buy it asap, for sure for sure. I didn't expect something like this, so this is a real nice surprise.

My main questions are just, when can we start the dlc? Like, is it after all the companion stuff during the vanilla game, so this is basically endgame content? And will it affect the endings at all? Hope so, but I love it already either way. All good.

I will buy the Citadel DLC as soon as possible. I was sold on it before but when I saw those pictures the first thing I saw in both was Wrex and I was overjoyed. I liked him in 2 and 3 but it wasn't until I was finally able to play 1 that I could really appreciate his character and I just thought he was awesome. So I'm just overjoyed at the thought of seeing more of him and Miranda and so many of the other great characters that Bioware has created here. These characters are the largest part of why I call Mass Effect my favourite game series with little competition.

Wrex is just a traitor....first he pulled a gun on me in ME1 where I foolishly showed too much mercy by allowing him to live only to have him try to kill me again in ME3. That was not the gratitude I was expecting for sparing his life so I opened up my save, changed a couple of variables and set things right....the way they should have happened the in the first place, Wrex died on Virmire....then with Maelon's data gone I was able to make Mordin see reason and thus saved his life. I call that a flawless victory....got rid of a traitor and saved a real friend.

Really... Then you made some wrong choices  your self. You were an ass to the Krogan so you deserve to be treated like one.  Which means another shotgun in the left nostile.  Have fun with that.

I would like to know if we can expect a trailer for this DLC or, with Bioware employees being even more coy than usual regarding giving away any potential spoilers, and with being less than a week from release anyway, will we just have to wait until release to see/hear anything more about it?

Okay, I see where you're coming from now. At least about prefering Wreav and sabotaging the cure. I guess it all comes down to what kind of person your Shepard is - would he sacrifice an entire species because of what MIGHT happen? I for one strongly believe that the krogan could learn from their mistakes and co-exist with the rest of the galaxy if Wrex and Eve are there to direct them down the right path.

And I definitely can't agree with Wrex being a traitor. His perspective is just a lot different than yours.

Now enough with the off-topic. Looking forward to the DLC.

Maybe it has something to do with you sentencing his entire race to extinction, for which you have to kill Mordin. So, who is the traitor here?

would like some ice for that burn?:D

Maybe it has something to do with the willingness and desire for violence that most Krogan have and the fact they were driving asteroids into collonies before they were put down. I expected Wrex to understand one very simple thing: his people are not ready to be cured. Maybe they survive the war and maybe they don't but they will last longer by cooperating than by being alone.

The only thing I am doing is my first and foremost duty as a Spectre....which is ensuring and protecting the peace across the gallaxy both short AND long term by doing the neccesary harsh actions and taking the decisions needed....above all I represent the second guessing of gallactic law and situations like these are exactly why Spectres exist. Wreav suits my purpose better anyway....no need for ungrateful traitors like Wrex.

Honestly I would have taken the same approach if not for Eve. It seems that the female Krogan will be a calming force in the unpredictable and violent world of krogan politics.

The only thing I'm worried about now regarding this DLC is the possibility that it has yet more Cerberus in it.

Please don't let there be anymore Cerberus in it - There's too many encounters with them as it is.

Everyone would love a trailer, but maybe they are nervous about the reactions?
I mean it is the last bit we are going to see for this beloved triology - this makes me really sad.

My god, after years, I'm finally allowed to post on here.  My one question.  Thank you for this DLC, but why don't yah fix the game first?  Out of my entire library, this game is the only one where I get disconnects and lots of glitches.  I heard this is the last dlc, so yah are just gonna leave the game broken this entire time?

Hey bioware, just wanted to say I think the citadel DLC sounds like an awesome idea. doesn't bother me at all that there won't be any "post ending" dlc, this is gonna be a great way to kick off the final content for the series. but on a side note ( if kelly even made the cut for the "rekindling" casino part), it'd be awesome if you could add her image in for the the flashback scenes during the ending for the Kelly fans! she's the only LI that doesnt have one as far as I know. thanks!

My hope is that this DLC avoids the sad, bittersweet, melancholic tone of inevitability that the last third of the vanilla game had. Aside from that, I am wildly excited to get this.

Thank you so much Bioware for supporting this game for the past year.

We got screwed beware took the cheap way out instead of listening to the large majority of their fans who hate hate hate hate the ending . I hope to God you guys have actually given us the answers we deserve but I highly doubt it ! I mean the fans did 90% of the work for via the indoctrination theory but you guys made your decision and have alienated the majority of your fans for what ?

they go indoctrination theory the lost another fan

why in 7 hells would you want your hero to be indoctrinated is beyond my scope of understanding, it would demean every play through i have ever done of these games to such a standard i could never touch another bioware game again.

If you feel you got screwed fine move on with your life, im also not a ending lover but you know what its a game i move on to the next one not sit an grow grey hairs stressing myself out over it or filling a social network with my tears an hate.

DAMN GROW UP

@krul2k Shepard bring indoctrinated isn't the point it's the principle of theory and what reapresents. If you truly can't understand the purpose theory then it's understandable way you may dislike it....

Honestly I think that unless something is fixed, then its pointless. And cronies like Jessica Merizan and her bosses will just continue to spit out lies and excuses like the snakes they are. I for one am done with all this back and forth,so I'm actively starting on pulling up a civil suite on these people. And believe me..I have plenty of ammo to use in court.

So does anyone know if there's any word on whether Thane is in in the SP DLC?

I'm definitely buying the DLC, it sounds great but I don't know which one of my characters to play. If there's going to be more Thane content then I'll load up my Thane romance but if not I'll have choose a different Shep.

Cheers

It's my undestanding, via the unspoken confirmation, that anything to do with Thane will be as short as his conversation in ME3.

My advice would be to roll a different Shep. So much fun being forced to play as the opposite sex. /sarcasm

Damn, that sucks!

I was hoping for something more substantial for Thane just 'cause there isn't an option to hang out with him post DLC (with him being dead 'n all).  I hope it's not going to be a funeral..........there's not enough tissues in the country for me to get through that without drowning in snot and tears Image IPB

Never mind, I'll go with my Kaiden LI and leave my Thane romance Shep forever alone.  I got all exited about finishing my adept run and now I won't bother.

Thanks for the response.  Image IPB

If you were hoping for an ending-related DLC, then that's entirely your fault. BioWare said a long time ago that's not going to happen.

If you're talking about the game itself and that nonsense about how BioWare said it won't be just A,B or C ending - guess what? As similar as they are, there are 7 different endings, and that's without EC. The difference between them is not what you expected, but once again, that's your fault.

Wanna be a pathetic little man and take it to court? Go ahead, you've got nothing.

Based on what we know so far, this DLC contains so much stuff that people around have been asking for. So the only consequence will be more money for them. And they deserve it.
