I never trusted Origin with my savegames, I keep them locally. There's too great risk of the Origin crashing and burning.

Now I get a 'Slow Network' error when attempting to load my Origin Library. *Shudders* What the hell is EA up to?
Edit: According to Speedtest.nl my network is 11 MB/sec DL fast, with 1,5 MB UL speed and max 2500 connections/min.

If I click the login button, it's like a lottery where the prizes are "Slow Network", "Offline Mode", "Your credentials have expired" and "Account already in use". Feels like the twilight zone.

You know, I do not like the way that it is near impossible to find DLCs with ease. I go through Origin to find CItadel....nada....nothing ingame, there is NO option ingame to view DLC packs or anything. And then through Bioware's site itself, there is NO link to Citadel DLC. If you are going to deliver a product, link the hell out of it so people don't have to do a scavenger hunt for it.

EA is really having a hell of a time today, as Sim City 4 is having all sorts of issues too on its launch day.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me drawing a blank. If Steam can cope with Black Ops 2, how is it that EA can't even deal with a single piece of DLC?

That would be a miracle within a miracle. Unless Heaven has come upon Earth, I won't count on it. And even with Heaven on Earth, I'd still heavily doubt it.

Haha, just as I posted my last post, the Citadel arrived in my DLC window

The window itself is still broken and I can't buy it, but hey, progress !

@THUD, as I said, it's still broken, but earlier I dodn't even have an option to blibk the citadel.

The Sim City launch is most likely the culprit here and not Mass Effect. It's just coming up to 20:00 CET/19:00 GMT and that means most people are back from work, have SC downloaded and are just now swarming the servers wanting to play. Or they're still trying to buy it since a lot of websites have spent the day gushing about how good SC is and it's enough to get the people that remember SC or SC2000 fondly to give this gaming lark another go.

Still, does want Citadel now, please.

'Overwhelming demand'? Amateurs... you know how much people preordered/bought games... This is as bad as Blizzard's Diablo III launch issues... LOL. That was also amateurish and nickel-and-diming the costs of the necessary servers.

The SimCity isn't up for download yet, it'll be on the 7th in EU. I know I'm stuck and I won't mess around with proxy, scine EU servers won't be up till 7th. No point in having a city in the US.

You know, for the amount of money that EA get out of us, you think they'd get better staff and equipment to get Origin sorted and the DLC's out on time! This is ridiculous, it's 7pm here in the UK and still no Citadel DLC, it'll be the 6th of March soon!

isn't it funny how activition and tryarch can release their DLC by 6:00a.m. on their release date but EA can't even get theirs up by 1:00p.m. on their release day.  <_<
