Is it just me, or is Lancer overpowered?

So, if you didn't plough Miranda in ME2, you don't get her to appear in this DLC?

I ssuppose it also depends on when you initiate the Citidal Mission. Miranda is only available after the Horizon mission for the little meet ups you do after Citidal. I'm pretty sure she can be invited to the party if you can invite Jacob:wizard:

Nope- no Miranda- she was my sqeeze in ME2 , I waited to start this DLC until I met -up with her and got all cozy in the Citidal in ME3, have both Legion and Tali in the ship after inital Dreadnought mission.  However, niether Miranda or Legion were part of this DLC = BOOO!!  Yes, I did have Jacob and Tali .  The DLC itself was fun, the action was "ok" - I am overpowered due to this being the second time through so never had to use medi-gel, really liked the character interactions. So, will replay with different characters as part fo the missions just for fun. Since the ending of ME3 is soo  bad - wont continue the game on this second play-through as this DLC does not change the ending what -so- ever. Is there any romance in this DLC?  If I go back and replay from before I get cozy with Miranda in the Citidal in ME3 then will there be any possible options for other lovers in this DLC or not?  The flirting and/or interactions could be hysterical.  Or maybe For Miranda to be part of the DLC I would need to complete horizon as stated above. That doesnt figure though as all other characters are part of the team when I played the DLC - unless they omit Miranda because she if off chasing down her sister. Hmmm. yep- replay necessary....

Miranda IS part of the DLC, providing you complete Horizon first.

very good-thanks ... I was wondering. So, I will definetly have to replay again then - is there any romance options within the DLC ? anyone? If there is, then I will reload the game prior to hooking up with Miranda on the Citidel and avoid all romance options with all, until playing this DLC. That should make the dialog/character interactions even funnier.

I went back and UNplayed the Citadel DLC (so to speak) because the first time I did it I setup the party too soon. Hadn't sealed the deal with Ash yet so she was off flirting with Vega (ugh) and no Samara, no Tali, no Miranda, etc. Am waiting THIS time until after I've gotten everyone who can come on the invite list.

Loved Wrex and Grunt's vignettes. Loved Javik's bit. Hilarious. LOVED the Ashley bar bit. Hell, so far I'm liking all the bits, both the quiet and touching and the outrageous and funny.

the best for me is being able to team up with wrex an grunt, wrex,my bro, always been sad since me1 of the lack of him but grunt is my fav from me2 an well i love krogans an both are awesome in the dlc

so i get my best buds back an a arena so im happy, the rest of it was really forgettable for me

im only on my 4th or 5th character to take through so maybe it will grow on me, cant see it though as i point blank refuse to part with wrex in my squad

as i said though Arena with Wrex,Grunt an Shepard im a wee happy chappie that itself is worth going through the rest of the rubbish to get to

Yeah, that is awesome. You can almost just sit back and let them take care of everything. Plus, Liara & Samara is a cool combo too.

Not sure how many there are, but I do know that to trigger them you need to get everybody as drunk as a skunk.

Be careful though, because if you didn't romance anybody in the first place, something rather embarrasing happens......

I waited until I finished Jacob's and Miranda's missions before I did the party.  They will appear at that point and later in single vignettes as with the other characters.

Wrex, Grunt, and Javik have hilarious vignettes.  Loved them.  I also thoroughly enjoyed Ashley's vignette in the bar (a bit of Star Wars bar scene riff), plus I just LOVE Ash.

Fantastic, final dlc :)  Totally worth waiting for.  The dialogue had me in fits at some points, but the part with Traynor and the toothbrush - pure gold!

Ha ,ha NOW I will definetely have to reload before hooking up with miranda and play romance free all the way through he horizon mission - the humor is the best part of the DLC for me . Although I did not do any fight simulator- so that is sounding fun too -especially with Grunt and Wrex - thanks for that idea.

Just did Omega and Citadel dlc back to back. Man, that was a lot of fun. Both great DLC. Tons of replay value! I was surprised as how difficult the Citadel battles were. They were satisfying, but a bit tougher than the norm. Refreshing!

*I* should go...  LMAO...
I took Liara and Wrex.  What a hoot!

I loved Tali's romance scene. Some talimancers complained about Tali's face. When the Turian says "I already have (seen who the Quarian truly is,he doesn't need to see her face)",he explained what I am trying to tell everyone since ME3 came out: we romanced Tali for her personality, surely not for her face.

But if her face looks like Goofy then you would UNDO your "romance".  The face matters.

Just the facts.  I deal with reality, not gauzy, hazy fantasy.  If you removed her mask and saw some spider-like face, a dog face, a horse face, a pig face...the deal would be off.  OR if her tight bod had been some lumpy bumpy round thing there would be no question.  No one would be "romancing" her.  Admit it.  Accept it.

My wife is 16 years my senor. We've been married 23 years and she's old, overwieght and no where near a beauty queen and has never given me children due to a medical condition we discovered after 2 years in.  I still love her with all my heart. She has cancer and I'll care for her and clean bed sores every day if needed.  THAT is romance, THAT is love.

Don't be shallow and don't use hyperboly as examples.
