There are many people who enjoy the multiplayer.. I'm sorry you are not one of them.AtreiNero wrote...
I just thought of something else. We haven't had a year of DLC, and ME3 was much lighter on DLC than ME2. So why is it ending now?
Oh wait, all of that wasted time on Multiplayer and that waste of space and useless game feature. I thought MP wouldn't affect SP development. Yeah...I"m sure that didn't happen. To much MP DLC and not enough SP. Only 3, ok 4 major Story DLC packs, and just a handful of weapon packs. ME2 was much heavier on the DLC with 5 or 6 and 6 weapon packs, and 2 appearance packs. ME3 had just one appearance pack, and 2 weapon packs.
I feel that while good things have to come to an end, this wasn't up to the standards of ME2 DLC and I feel that more time should have been put on SP DLC, the actual game not the worthless MP stuff.
And unless you believe Firewalker and the Normandy crash site to be major DLCs, the count will be 4 to 5. And the bonus character DLCs don't really compare to the multimission (larger) DLCs. LotB, Overlord, Arrival compared to Leviathan, Omega, and Citadel.
I am only saying that they are nearly equal in number, not quality or anything else.

Have to say, James looks pretty dapper in his suit. Plus it will be nice having Wrex back. Wonder what abilities he's using this time around?
Wonder if Sheps hidey hole on the Citadel will work like Me2's system where you could invite your LI to your cabin? Also wondering whether it's a permanent residence.

Guess this means I'll have to start a new game. Right from ME1. <activates hermit mode>

Yep. I actually just made a new Shepard a few weeks ago. All I did was the character creation. Haven't even taken a step yet. I'm still working on my femshep infiltrator on insanity.

Just a thought: In the photo where James is wearing an official atire, not once you see him so formal in the game, he is always wearing his tight white shirt, or armor...since this CITADEL DLC isn't post ending, or COULD BE since it is said you can play it even after defeating the game...it just sends off the message as he's been promoted, hence why the more formal atire or am I just reading too much into it? Does this promotion happen during the game? After the ending? I don't recall anything about that, I know he was asked to join "something" I can't recall...but just to ponder a bit.
The same reason you see people bringing out their best threads in Vegas

Of course, we don't want to disappoint EA now. No we gotta hurry and push out new games quickly (DAII), with lots of micromanagement so EA can get as much money as possible. We need to get rid of all traces of the original game as we can turn the series into another generic military shooter, EA loves those kind of games. Very easy to make with no thought on story but plenty of excuses to make money.
Omega was just lazy, you really tricked me into thinking it was going to be the Lair of the Shadow Broker of ME3, that it was going to be the Awakening equivalent in terms of size, that Omega was actually going to live up to it's promise of having actual multiple outcomes. At least Oleg generally behaved like he did in Invasion but the ending was way to quick, cheap, empty, unsatisfying, uninterested in varying options and care over what actually should have happened.
If you Bioware people actually live up to your promise and actually give anything towards the series and it's characters, I'll be mighty surprised and I'll take this all back and apologies.

My thoughts exactly
or we could be getting our hopes up and preparing ourselves for a dissapointment.
Really hope that is not the case

As for the meantime, maybe I should go outside and make these 'friends' people speak of. Then roll on the new Mass Effect!

Armax combat arena? sounds like the colosseum mode I've wanted since ME2, being able to experience combat without the limitations of the story, and without having to load an early save game.
Pinnacle Station except with a fledged combat system.
