EDIT: The DLC does have a reason for Shepard to be away from the war. So stop complaining about "oh shepard's partying while millions die" - there's a reason by the sounds of it (not that you need one for an RPG side quest - as I said wasn't a big deal to me, but would be a cool detail, but that's another debate).

Jessica Merizan is her name, could you link me to what she said - I'd believe it :) Sounds good. :)

You've probably already found it, but here.. I can't figure out how to link to a specifc tweet, so here is a picture.

Right after Rannoch sounds like a good place

i guess after Rannoch and before you meet the asari coucilor would seem like a relatively good timeframe to play this (and other) DLC. though i suggest you finish with all the ME2 Character sidequests before doing this particular DLC. it would be very immersion breaking to say meet Grunt or Jacob and then play their side mission with them saying "i haven't seen you in months!" after you played the DLC

Hmm... so can I do all the ME2 people's sidequests before rannoch?

Is it pretty hard after rannoch to justify?

I don't think it'd actually matter OP. It would seem as long as your before taking on the indoctrinated mans' base. Have to download and try several possibilites. Hopefully it's omni dimensional...AND a wizz banger.

You think immediately before cronos is a good idea?

Well, wouldn't it have to be before Chronos anyways, since that is the point of no return?

I meant immediately before cronos. As that is where the legacy auto save is.

I would say as early as possible, considering that (supposedly) every former squadmate is returning in some form. If Mordin and Legion are in there at all, I would want to play the DLC before Tuchanka and Rannoch.

After Tuchanka/ Cerberus Coup or Rannoch would work for me. You're at the Citadel anyway and you've just accomplished something big.

The best timing would probably right before the point of no return depending on how its done? It could put down to just waiting on the Citadel for the Crucible to be finished then, it would also mean you have already re-established LI's at least with Liara, Kaidan/Ash, Garrus, Tali or whomever your LI might happen to be by that point as well so I think it would make more sense then to be suddenly all over them if you haven't had that earlier conversation?

Before this was announced, I was thinking I'd play Leviathan, Omega, and this DLC in one stretch after Rannoch and before Thessia.

Now I'm thinking that Leviathan and Omega will go after Rannoch, and maybe this will go right before the assault on Cerberus HQ. Basically, the R&R portion would be everyone getting together to blow off steam before the two big assaults (Cerberus base then Earth).

Also, if Miranda is there - I can't help but feel like her dialouge will be better after Horizon, and she's reunited with her sister. As it is, when you talk to her during her segments in the game it's all "I can't talk about that."

I feel like Miranda after Horizon would be much less distracted than Miranda pre-Horizon if the entire squad gets together for R&R.

Thats a good point, we could put it down to the cruciable being finished up.

Blow off steam and get reacquainted shortly after the coup, I suppose, if you can't do so after the war's over and done.

Its seems to me a good place to play this DLC is after Miranda's mission as that is one of the last things you tie up before Priority Cerberus.

Do you think we will get to run around the Presidium again, that would be awesome, I could check to see if Sha'ira is still alive.
