Really? Maybe it has something to do with me posting about the negative things, but keeping all my excited reactions for myself.

For example: did you know that RIGHT NOW I'm dangerously close to fainting of happiness because of Geth Juggernaut? No? that's because I didn't make a post about it. Or celebrating Turian women, which is something I know more people are going to do.

However, so many people are going to defend the EDI clone, that I felt like it needed to be said. This is patronizing and juvenile, consider the alternatives they had to choose an Alliance synthetic.

BioWare gave me something I liked and wanted? Better not mention it all. They put in one thing I do approve of? Better start a thread whining about it immediately.

Seems legit. Image IPB

This was destined to happen eventually, not merely because adolescent gamer boys like to see attractive women (bots), but because it was one of the few remaining character models that they could use.

Personally, idgaf if it has boobs as long as it has cool powers.

See, the Juggernaut/Prime is a good example of a combat robot. Hell, the normal geth are good combat robots. And they're sexy. They don't need to have finely sculpted chrome abs, or chromed buttocks, for them to be attractive.

EDI didn't need an overly sexualized robot body to be sexy, because she's already an incredible character. But they gave her one just for players to drool at.whatever. You know the reason.

And now we have it in multiplayer, because apparently someone in the Alliance figured they needed to mass-produce the same robotic woman to "infiltrate" in the war against the Reapers. That makes total sense and it's not grasping at straws at all :|

Anyway, I've already said all I needed to say. There are many exciting things I look forward to in the DLC, don't get me wrong, but I just needed to say this.

Since there's been so many re-skins in previous mp dlc, I wasn't that surprised with the inclusion of EDI's model. I will probably play it if I manage to unlock it. That said, I've never been comfortable with EDI's design in the first place. She's a sexed up version of the Metropolis robot. Still, I'm actually kind of pleased with her inclusion, especially if she has a fun skillset.

They could also use Eve's model.

Hell, even maybe they have, and it's just not been revealed yet. I won't keep my hopes up, though. Also, they had LOKI and Rampart models to use as robots, and they would make more sense than the EDI bot.

idgaf. I will only be playing the FemTurian and Geth characters. Possibly Salarians too, since Krogan are way too mainstream and Salarians have been out of fashion for a while.

Psssh I was playing Krogans before they were cool

If it helps ease your pain at all, it looks like they're using the slightly more modest-looking Alternate Appearance Pack armor.

They might, eventually, but it makes even less sense than the EDI bot.  Going into battle in a Krogan niqab, right.

I don't know about the Ramparts (didn't bother playing Omega,) but the LOKI mech is probably a non-starter given that they only walk in singleplayer (i.e. they require new animations.)

gorram, it. why couldn't they just actually give them fake skin at least, remember before edi stole the body it had skin, why couldn't they at least give these "infiltration units" skin. it would be really difficult to "infiltrate" without actually looking like people.

I don't see how a Krogan "niqab" is less believable than Drell wearing overcoats or Quarians in suits that can tear and give them the flu.

If it's about numbers, they still can be added. Even if 99% of Krogan women are on Tuchanka having babies, if the remaining 1% wants to fight, they should be able to do so. Saying that literally no krogan females want to fight, ever, would be ridiculous. We could have them in multiplayer, just like we have the non-typical frontline fighters that are the Volus.

I'm okay with the possibility of Tricia Helfer's voice being in mp. (though I recognize that that may be a bit lore-unfriendly.)

Interesting! The body is a copy of one of EDI's DLC outfits. Which is even cooler, because I like that design a lot more than her default one (even if I do keep her in her Miranda-style outfits all the time).

By the way, looks like the infiltration robot is indees using Edi's armor from the DLC.

So, final DLC of the game, and people are complaining about the Sexbot?
We've been given volus, krogan, geth, male quarians, pretty much everything people have wanted to play as (aside from Protheans) we've been given at some point. In our final DLC we get the Fem Turian and the EDI-Clone.

Folks, we've been getting fanservice from the very first DLC. That's pretty much what DLC is: Give the people what they want, then charge them for it. How about instead of finding something to complain about we just be glad BioWare, a company controlled by Electronic Arts, has managed to keep providing us with free DLC when they certainly could have charged for it instead?

... Nah that'd be silly! Carry on with the complaints!

Let's also be upset about the sexy blue space asari. They are too attractive. We should make sure everything is androgynous and fat unattractive piles as to not offend peoples overly delicate sensibilities or fragile self images.

Someone thinks that mass-producing a sexbot for combat is a ridiculous logic and is nothing but brainless fanservice.

Well that was the story.  Dr. Eva was in fact an Infiltration unit.  At least in MP you can change the colors and patterns.

We don't even know if it looks exactly like EDI.  Does it?
