Ifyou cure them, are they even really cured...if you closely you can see that they have all yellow eyes, but it really made wonder, when two people gossip right before orzammar about a guy who claims to have seen werewolfs... possible coincidence....?

They're cured of being trapped in the form of beasts for the rest of their lives.

Unfortunately, the cure has the nasty side effect of transforming them into wolves when the moon is full.

If the werewolf curse somehow lingers even though it is officially lifted I think you would have heard something from the elven camp. There where lots of elves there infected by the curse. The gossipers outside Orzammar are easily explained by it being old information.

Well the werewolfs in Brecilian Forest were just one group/tribe. Surely there are others in Korcari wilds - maybe gossipers refered to them?

that depends right, the one who were infected had not become actual werewolfs yet (incamp) the ones who were got either killed or joined the werewolfs, you most likely slained them....as there were only humans when the curse got lifted. the ones in camp did not really suffer from the curse they have not transformed in it...could be a nice continuation of the story....

Depending on how lucky you are you will come accross a random event after freeing the werewolfs where you are yet again attacked by werewolfs so the warden didn't cure them all.

Not all the cured werewolves have yellow eyes, I noticed that first time and checked subsequently. Others have different colours. It's a coincidence.



Nevertheless, because the curse has been lifted and these werewolves cured need not mean that there are no werewolves anywhere else in Thedas.
