Me too. Without hard cover capabilities and the fact he's huge as hell tells me he is going to be going down a lot.

Which is why he's going to need 5 - 10,000 Shields/Health.

Still not gold/plat viable

Pretty much every kit is viable. Optimal is a different story, though.

he cannot run, nor can he take cover. however his powers are geared towards Damage reduction

He will be slow as destroyer(?), can't dodge, move over obsatcles, take cover, and even run.

He will be doomed in front of Banshees, Phantoms, and Praetorians without that.
Praetorian can fly at the speed of most characters run btw.

I'm still kinda confused how this is going to work. I mean, if he can't dodge, take cover, or anything like that won't he get completely owned? I mean I get destroyed on Gold(I HAVEN"T PLAYED VERY LONG!!!!) with characters that can do all of that stuff....and now I'm basically just a huge immobile target? Don't get me wrong this excites me, I've always wanted to play as a Prime so this is going to be EPIC!!!! Yes, I know it's not technically a Prime, but it's close enough for me.

I hope he doesn't go down like every 5 seconds...that'll be a huge letdown.

Yeah. Who needs running when he can bust through walls and send cars flying? He'll bearhug Brutes, pimp slap Banshees and wrestle with Atlases. Old Geth Body Wash does wonders for a synthetic body.

To offset his lack of mobility I think he needs really high shields and extreme damage output, otherwise he'll be playable just for the sake of playing him.
