So, then...what species is the Raptor? There's no way that word came out of nowhere...
Just think of it as a nickname like Batarian Slasher or Brawler.
That. We called her the Raptor for a long time before she became the Cabal near the end of production, I suspect that's how the name ended up in some of the information release.
