If this `chance to rekindle me2 romances` turns out to just be male sheps female LIs, I'm gonna be annoyed. Then again, it`s not like anyone would want to rekindle Jacob's romance after what the writers did to him.
My cracked theory is that we will finally be able to hook up with Vega.

Damn, I never realized that those who romanced Thane were then pushed into a romance with Jack.
Hell, that doesn't even make much SENSE.

Wasn't it something like 2% of players even TOOK a Jacob romance path?
Sounds like people didn't even want to kindle it in the first place. It's like a "if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it" sort of thing.

I dont really care about in the apartment stuff (it's useless and a bit creepy in me2), I'm glad to have more content for the characters who were so under represented in the original game. I might actually do a mirimance now that she's more than a glorified cameo!
You got an apartment in ME2?

I just wish there was more excitement about the story and ME universe rather than the stupid romances.
I'll just post this -

Am I the only ME fan that does not give a damn about the stupid LI 's and bull**** romance?? No, i do not care about ramming Liara and having blue babies mainly because she's in a VIDEO GAME, I want a great story like ME1. I want the fantastic missions that we experienced in ME2 that utilized the whole squad. I want an awesome sci fi video game not Dawson's Creek. Stick your damn blue babies and romance bull**** far up your dark hole Bioware. Deliver something worthwhile.
One can deliver worthwhile content that doesn't have to be shallow in terms of the "romance" aspect, it can be meaningful character development for both Shepard and "x" partner, depending on how Bioware develops it (writes, animates, etc), but again - this is a DLC - so I don't expect that much improvement and basic generic copy and paste. Otherwise, I would argue that not everything romantically or anything involving love interests, has to be related to "blue babies, omg, Liara I wuv you"
My Shepard's been wanting to express his doubts to Jack since the end of ME2 and Bioware didnt' allow this, I can see this as a great weight off his shoulders and show him being vunerable when not forced (Thessia outbreak) because it's relevent to how I developed my Shepard since ME1, but hey - you know, babies. Blue babies.
and this -
Yate, please let me embrace some positivity for once, I haven't been happy about ME3 since it was released and now they're finally doing something that appeals to me - I'm just hoping for the best, since I really want to replay the series without a dry taste in my mouth.

Would you prefer quality over quantity? As in, one small, but unique, scene with each of the minor romances as opposed to a longer, more generic piece? More specifically, a unique interaction with each or similar interactions with variable dialogue or some such?

You got an apartment in ME2?
One of the DLC's you won a bet and got a house. Nice little place, not a very pretty environment to live in, but nice little house. Problem was, you couldn't really do anything there. I don't even remember being able to take any squadmates there at all. No scenes, no dialogue, just a place you could go that was yours. And no customization. So I'm actually pretty excited to have an apartment on a bustling place like the citadel. Rather overdue for poor Shep imo. Can't wait to see what customization they offer, just hope it's good and actually gives some personalization and choice to it. Love that you'll actually have scenes there and interactability with friends and romances. Again though, I'm really really hoping for some quality interactions more than the generic sit on lap or drinking and cuddling scenes.

Technically, that was in ME1 and the Pinnacle Station DLC (which, fyi, is a true f***ing ripoff of a DLC...) - about the only thing it was good for was restocking Shepard's grenades, occassionally listening to music on the radio, and using the terminal to buy upgraded gear much earlier than you could normally get it in the game. Add the fact that the apartment never transfered or imported into the sequels just made it an even worse waste of money for those of us stupid enough to buy the damn thing. <_<BoneNinja wrote...

Vega was going to be a bisexual, but then Bioware decided that it wouldn't be fair game for the other LIs.
True story.

I started thinking about it some time after I posted this and thought I may have put ME2 instead of ME1 for this DLC. So yup, you're entirely correct! Sorry about the confusion. You're pretty much dead on correct about everything you said regarding the DLC, and I'm rarely one to criticise a DLC to begin with!
