the armor those guys are wearing reminds me a lot of the keepers. those lights on the lower abdomen look like keepers eyes. & the antenna on their backpack (?) looks like those on the back of keepers.

You, Sir, are on to something. Think I might edit this into the original post.

just grasping at straws!

another reason that i thought it might be keeper related is that picture of shep hanging off a ledge of some sort... reminded me of bailey mentioning the maze of tunnels leading to the keeper vats when discussing kai leng after the citadel coup.
speculation, speculation!

EDIT: actually, scratch that about the keeper tunnels. after looking at the screenshot more closely, i highly doubt the keepers have holo screens in the tunnels to watch while they work...:innocent:

Yes, the same logo is on the T-shaped part of the ship.

Whoever they are they are elite. Very elite. Their weapons say they mean business. M99 sabers I believe one of the best high DPS weapons in the game. There radio packs means that they are highly organized combat unit. Not Merks but elite combat operatives.

That's alright. I'll have Miri and Wrex watching my back. Plus nothing can compete with a highly skilled infiltrator sniper armed with a Black Widow V and blood pack SMG. Good luck with that. I don't care who they are. They are going to die very violent deaths. Boom Headshot.

Yes, it must have been quite the conspiracy that got Shepard to where he is in that screen. it could still be Keeper related though, perhaps an extension of the overhead walkways used by the keepers in ME2, when you shadowed Thane in his loyalty mission.

Damn, I would say this is coincidence, but I'll choose to remain open minded...

That is... Disturbing. Not sure they're quite the same though...

Can anyone get a screenshot with a closer look?

It's something Shepards seen before.

That is interesting.

But probably just a coincidence and means nothing.

Well since the mission includes the Council Archives these soldiers must be the guards of it or something.

It looks close, but it doesn't seem quite right. The gaps in the logo on their shoulder go further down into the corner. The edges on the left are also completely straight rather than angled.

Yeah its apparently not the same logo. The glows of their eye color is strange, its the only thing i got from the pictures. I also dont think they are guards of the citadel, this is after the coup. Why would citadel refuse you access of archive in the situation they are and why would guards attack you. Either its cerberus related or reaper, nothing else to be really.

Perhaps. What I can say is that the logo is not a complete match. I've even tried rotating it and flipping it around.

That ship seems pretty human. It has "Bay 06" written on it, and the datapad's that you can read after crashing on it are in english. They appear to detail a crashed human merchant ship, hence the MSV (Merchant Space Vessel) that is found on many ships throughout the trilogy.

Yes, it's close.

MSV is the standard civilian ship prefix, like USS for the US Navy.

I like the theory that they are in some way related to the keepers. As someone said earlier, they have a lot of similarities such as the design on the chest and the backpack, even the green glow they have. Maybe the keepers take the human bodies that "disappear" and re purpose them to serve as a type of military force for some reason. The other theory that makes sense is that they are simply a special citadel guard force for the council, similar to the Emperors red guards in Star Wars. That would explain the citadel council archives.

This may be a stretch but they may possess biotic abilities as well. I seem to recall Kaidan wearing the same type of helmet in ME and in the beginning scene of ME2 when the Normandy was attacked by the Collector ship...

Crap, good point. I missed that.

So Jahleed and Chorban are working with Manuel to take Shepard down. They must be mad Shepard knew about the Keepers all along, and never told them.

BW said pre release that we'd find out the secret to the Keepers in ME3,but we didn't get one. This DLC may give us an answer.I'm going to gather info on certain people throughout the ME series that can be the main antagonists for this DLC that:

1.Shepard has met canonically at anytime throughout the trilogy and is not related in ANY DLC or side quest.
2.Can NEVER die no matter what Shepard did throughout the trilogy.
3.Has any hate for Shepard no matter what Shepard did at all in the trilogy.

There are outcomes where he dies and Shepard can just ignore the quest entirely so....No.

1. Manuel met Shepard canonically in any playthrough, and is not related to any DLC or side quest.
2. Manuel can never die no matter what.
3. Manuel maybe, potentially, probably accessed the Prothean beacon on Eden Prime anyhow and it made him a little Apocalypse Now. Also, the very first Shepard Paunch.

Also...

1. Even though they're side quest-related, it's impossible to not see Jahleed and Chorban. In fact, Ash points Chorban out to you as messing with a Keeper no matter what you do.
2. Jahleed and Chorban cannot die no matter what.
3. Shepard knew about the Keepers "all along" and never said anything to either of them. I'd imagine that's a bit of a Cheerio-pisser.

Food for thought.
