EDIT: Talon is confirmed to be an Engineer.

EDIT2:Warlord is confirmed to be a Sentinel.

Any plausible theories on what the deal is with the meteor on Hydra? Could they be fibbing about no new Hazard maps? Or is there some other explanation?

Yeah, I thought it was a third character not annonced to us (say the adept or engineer) firing into the area, but given the blast is coming from the walkway above, the effect as the scion shot, and the fact it is going towards the players more than the collectors makes it sorta obvious its nothing special.

Still. Tongues wagging help with the hype!

I thought so at first, too, but we've gotten statements from both Bryan Johnson (not sure) and the Mass Effect Twitter page that there will be no new maps/hazard maps/game modes.

I want info on that Lancer AR so bad. I've always loved the look and handling of the Avenger but the whole "doesn't kill things" part of it turned me off. Is the Lancer the answer I'm looking for???

Oh, also for the list Mike Gamble confirmed via Twitter that there is at least one human being added. I don't know if it's the Talon merc or not though.

The Executioner is confirmed, but what you call the lancer could easily be an avenger with a scope and what you call the Adas could easily be one of the Juggernaut's abilities.  Plus what you call the Raptor could easily be the Talon Merc.  You make a lot of assumptions without any confirmation.

NOTE: The lancer is an upgraded or alternate version of the Aveger with a polished silver coating. Seen in this picture with the Geth Juggernaut. Note the different light placements on the gun's end in comparison to the Avenger's mid section. The gun's lights are in the same places as the Lancer of Mass Effect One, not the avenger.

Also look at this picture, which better shows the side of the lancer. Look at the fact that it's side lacks the same amount of lights as the Avenger (the area the lights would be on the avenger are not lit up as they would be.). The Avnger does not have a silvery/shiny coating, just as the Eviscerator lacks the shine of the Wraith.

Now look at this video. The effect from the adas is the same as that fired by the juggernaut in the earlier picture.

Also, if you look closely, the closest Geth Juggernaut in the picture is indeed holding an AR emblazoned with an M7.
