A little. I'm looking forward to ME4. Now I have to use up my 45 mio credits, 200+ each of AR and Shotgun IIIs, thousand+ level IV equipment ..... I use equipment in every slot every game and still cannot run out .... really no reason for some people to hoard.

Yes I am sad, I will keep playing the game until they kill the servers.

you can still play madden 10, maybe 09...maybe further back.
they wait years, that wont be anytime soon, good for us.

This is excellent news, but I get concerned about players tapering off and having nobody to kill Reapers with.

you will find with most of these types of  games theres always enough people left to play, even though you can tell the population is sparse.
hell i remember reading they just closed the HALO TWO servers last year.
really.

I don't think the end is here yet, but I can sorta see it coming down the tracks.  Once the newness of this DLC wears off, it's going to be sad to think that there's nothing more coming.. ever.

This is pretty much where I was coming from too, in regards to feeling sad about the end.

No, because it's not over.
Yes it's the final DLC, but I got a few more challenges to complete - and no I'm not talking about the N7 challenges, just things I'd like to accomplish before putting this to bed.

Kinda sucks that EA will eventually turn off the servers, and all this work Bioware have done will be lost forever, like tears in the rain...

I wish they would have a counter of how many people were online playing like Halo or COD.

I was in private chat with buddies this past Saturday night, and they were playing Halo 4.

They asked me how many people were online on ME, cause they don't play it (shame on them), but I said they don't tell you how many are currently on.

Well they told me only 7,000 were playing Halo 4, on a Saturday night, I thought that was really low.

Personally, I'm very sad for now, but ecstatic for the future. The only regret that I have is that I didn't get into the series sooner. I got into ME back in Feb of 2012. I had bought ME1 used a long time ago because one of my friends said I should but never really got into it. When that same friend was so pumped about ME3, I decided that I would play ME1, just to make fun of him. (Started off as a joke, but I also thought I'd give it one more try to see if I was just crazy earlier). Not long after, I was hooked, and ME is now my favorite game series of all time, overthrowing the longtime leader (Halo) for me.

I wonder what all the elitists will do when it's over...

Probably go around showing their friends and family how to do mundane chores properly..

I dunno, by my count, it'll only be 16 more weeks after this weekend until I am maxed, although I do think I have one extra from Op Raptor back in the day.  These things seem pretty automated at this point, I wouldn't rule out 4+ more months worth of missions.

Although, I guess they will probably have to become URs at some point..

No, I've been slowly accepting the coming end of this game. It's been a great ride. Instead, I chose to look back at the journey till now, while blocking the frustrating memories of the store and SP ending. There are always new, great games coming out. Next stop, Bungie's Destiny.

No. Absolutely not!

I was sad and excited, when ME3 was announced as the end to Shepard's tale.
I was sad when ME3 ended the way it did. I'm pass that now.

ME3MP kept ME alive for me. I m having way too much fun to want to spoil it by going into mourning.
I'd rather celebrate, wouldn't you? We have new DLC ! The servers are still up and the game is still fun! No time for melancholy. There are Reapers that need killin!

Definitely, though I hope the community stays alive and there are good/fun players to play with, given the slow inevitable demise of PS3...

I tell ya something thats truly sad.
all the consumables left behind by the hoarders when they quit.

you fools should have used your stuff, i couldnt run out if i tried

If you couldn't run out if you tried, how do you think it is for them? My Adren mod 3s are under a 100 now... that's all I'm really worried about. (random) curious how many cyclonic mods I have since I completely avoid them unless playing a novaguard...

There will come a time when I put down the controller, remove the disc, and put away the game with a pang of loss and emptiness, but also with great contentment and wonder. That time is not yet here...

That number can't be right, or it was during non-peak time.  I just checked, and there are about 26-30k people playing war games and probably a few thousands playing spartan ops right now, during non-peak time.  During peak time, it can hit 100-200k people playing war games.  You gotta realize, there are like 10 different war game modes.  Spartan Ops is like ME3 MP, but it's mission base with cut videos and storyline.

I don't think they will shut down the ME3 MP servers this year.  Even older games with smaller populations like Left 4 Dead have servers still running.

if this gives anyone hope that it wont end anytime soon,
the assassins creed multiplayer series has 3 entries, and theres still a good amount of people that prefer the first game ( ac brotherhood)

even with 2 sequels, they havent shut down the servers, and when it comes to
support, whether you love them or not,
EA is superior to ubisoft.

Yes, I wish this would never end, I can't think of anything that's ever been this good. Looking forward to ME4. I hope the gap between the end of ME3 servers being shutdown and ME4 starting is either very small or non-existant.
