Devastated...

I remember talking to a guy in a game shop before ME3 was released. He was as excited as I was but said it was also a little sad. Like a lot of people I will be playing MP for a good while yet (and finishing my SP replay now the final dlc for that is coming). But it feels a lot like saying goodbye to old friends.

Kinda sad, but hopeful that it will last for a long time, i'd like to see BW say "well, this is it, no more ME3 MP, but while you're waiting for the release of the next ME, why don't you take a look at our brand new stand alone MP game"; hey, i have a right to deceive myself :P

I am, I can't help it. It's been a fun, unexpected ride, and I will miss it when it's over. I don't really know how long my interest will hold if there's nothing left to unlock and no hope of new content, though so far, i still have lots to do. Soloing Plat, completing my manifest, getting BotB. I hope I'll still be playing even after it's all done, but... I do feel a little sad, admittedly.

This game ain't over until they shut off the servers for me. So, nowhere even close to sad.

I'm having a bigger problem with NO NEW MAPS! I was sad but now it's turning to extreme anger.

The "All good things..." line made me sad indeed. But then I remembered that I can still enjoy playing for a long time to come. Heck, I still play ME1 from time to time just for giggles!

As long as there are items to collect I'll be playing ME3.  It's like an old, familiar friend.  The only other games that I've played this much are probably GTA4, Red Dead Redemption, Left 4 Dead 1, and Left 4 Dead 2.  That's some pretty good company if you ask me.

What would be really awesome is if somehow your old school banners and N7 rating could transfer over to ME4.  From what I understand the same team that developed ME3's multiplayer is taking the lead on ME4, so it should be feasible.  It would be a nice nod to those who helped take ME in the direction it's gone.

Meanwhile, here I am wishing that Dead Space 3 had a multiplayer mode like Mass Effect 3 that we could grind for gears, weapons, banners, etc...sigh.

Not really, plenty of new games coming out in March.

It's true. And there are some released games unplayed from the last 6 months that are still sitting on my shelf.
But this has been a truly great ride.

I'm not promoting past N7 3000 now, but will max out Reckoning and finish Map Mastery to complete BotB before I'm done. And there's always room for just one more mission.... 'For Tuchanka... wroooaaarrrrrrrrr'

I am. Just thinking of all the other kits we could have gotten - Spectre's, more Salarian STG. Not to mention the maps - was hoping for at least 2-3 new maps. Maybe one on Mars, Omega, Earth's Moon, etc.

There's just so much more they can shove into this sucker. I'm obviously very grateful for all the hard work they put into this and the great content we've received, so don't get me wrong. It's just I want more of it. :-)

I'm not sad about the SP experience ending - its been ended since my first run through, really.

The MP is somehting I never wanted. I thought it would be garbage. How fun could it possibly be? *Smiles* I am glad I was wrong. The ME3 MP team did far better than I ever imagined they could. I was addicted right off of the bat - it was so fun that I could not wait to do more waves, more runs - build my manifest.....

I think the MP team deserves some sincere appreciation for all of their efforts and brilliance.

I'm a little down about it, but i think they will support ME3 MP for a very long time...it may be the last MP pack, but the online experience isn't going anywhere for awhile, and i'm sure bioware is aware that alot of folks still play this very addicting multiplayer.

I'm very sad... I can't even play gold, yet! Well, not in public matches... Hope I can accomplish that before they kill the servers...

On the other hand, I'm excited for what the future awaits!

I think multiplayer will go strong for some time. Not many games are as successful online as ME3 has been, nor for as long, that aren't Halo or CoD.

Yes, this well hidden, thoroughly avoided thought touched some blue strings inside. I didn't uninstall ME3 since the day I bought it. Not a single other game can take credit for that from me. And it is because, despite all the differences between us, I couldn't help but admit thet the game is solid and community is great. And even though none of my friends play ME series, I always knew there will be a team to have fun with at my fingertips. I will miss it when it's over. But I will think fondly of times when it was. My sincere thanks to all great folks at MEMP support team and an army of devoted fellers I had an honor to serve with.

Edit: spellcheck.

Yes i am. Not exactly for the Multiplayer part, because i will play it nethertheless but for the Me Singleplayer experience. Never in my live any story , be it book, movie or game had taken hold of me that strongly. More than 1500h totally spend in all three games and i will most likely play them more and more in the future.

I will always remember this franchise. Always.

Now that the last ME3 SP DLC is here, I can start my "definitive" playthrough of the trilogy. And then again. And again. And again.
Mass Effect will never die for me.
