I doubt I'll stop playing.
Is anyone else sad it's over?

Don't count Salarians out just yet. Bioware have proved that they are listening with this DLC (FemTurians, playable Primes, etc.), and there are more kits than just those listed.Aretorihc wrote...
I am. Just thinking of all the other kits we could have gotten - Spectre's, more Salarian STG. Not to mention the maps - was hoping for at least 2-3 new maps. Maybe one on Mars, Omega, Earth's Moon, etc.
There's just so much more they can shove into this sucker. I'm obviously very grateful for all the hard work they put into this and the great content we've received, so don't get me wrong. It's just I want more of it. :-)

My heart is a little sad that we're in the end times - though I won't be stopping anytime soon.
I'm hoping for continued weekend ops; I'd like to, y'know, GET MY HURRICANE ABOVE II.
My head says: there are still new players incoming - people who bought the trilogy edition, or got the game for christmas perhaps. If they're spending enough $ on packs, the servers will keep running.

It's just a game. If I was sad every time a game ended, I'd be constantly waterlogged.

Sad? Not in the least bit. Any emotional attachment I had left for Mass Effect died when the Extended Cut DLC was released. This last DLC could have been used to finally fix the broken SP endings, but it wasn't. Oh well.
I only play ME3MP because, in spite of its issues, it's still fun overall. No more DLCs? No big deal. It's not like we don't have a lot of player kits available already anyway.

I'm not sad, because I'm so pleased with how ME3 turned out, especially the multiplayer. I was totally against MP before I tried it. I figured it was fracturing the franchise, and had a dozen other reasons that MP would ruin ME.
A year later, I've put in hundreds of hours into the MP, and have enjoyed DLC after DLC after DLC without having to pay up front. I've paid, mind you, but as a way of showing appreciation.
Except for the SP ending bungle, ME3 is a model for how a AAA title should be released and supported.

I suppose I should clarify just a bit. I'm happy there's going to be more Mass Effect in the future, I'm just worried about the timeframe. There's -so- much left unexplored in the current ME universe and I'd hate to see it go to waste. The multiplayer (which is something I've wanted since the second game) served as a nice bridge into those unexplored portions; it let us play as the different races and experience a little more of the universe even if it was just to secure hotspots. At the very least, I'm hoping Bioware gives MP a modest amount of maintenence up until ME4 is released.
...or maybe until a Mass Effect MMO is released. Yes, I'm one of "those people."

It's a yes and no thing for me.
MP's been nice. First MP shooter I've ever played heavily. It may not have been as ambitious as Spartan Ops, but ME3 MP is easily the best part of ME3.
SP should have been so much better story-wise. I'm just glad they're finally putting out a DLC that addresses the NPCs that should have been major characters in ME3 but ended up heavily marginalized. While the ultimate destination is still a steaming pile of ****, with 2-soon-to-be-3 DLCs, at least the journey has gotten progressively better over time.

But I will keep on playing MP... and hope that the Citadel salves me.
