That said, we tried to make a positive experience for those who romanced Thane.  We'll see in a week if you think that was successful or not. 

Sadly all I see coming from this is another way gamers that chose to play their femsheps as straight are going to get 'screwed' again in the romance department

Sorry, Jack can't be in the DLC cause she has returned to her students. Miranda cant make it either as she is off chasing her father. Tali dont matter cause you didn't romance her in 2 and oh dear you went and killed Ashely in 1. So sad you only have Liara left.

Thane's death scene is very emotional and one of the high points of the game ... if you don't romance him. If you do romance Thane, it's a bit of a letdown. And the idea of how Thane dies is sound, but Kai Leng turns out to be such a joke that it is a waste of a great character. Thane saving the Councilor and dying a hero is great. Thane getting killed by a hopping space ninja ... words fail. So if you don't romance him, there are some very good pros to his storyline. If you do romance him, well ... could be worse. Could be Jacob.

I have but one hope about Thane and Citadel DLC - a properly choreographed CGI cutscene of his fight with Kai Leng. Without jumping on swords and Shepard standing there idly, preferably.
This is pretty much the only thing that can be improved without retcons in Thane's ME3 story by that point.

Before ME3, if Thane was to die, I always expected Thane to sacrifice himself for a cure for kepral's syndrome and to save future Drell from the disease. Not by a cereal ninja.

Did I mention that no one remembers -or even mentions- him? <_<

LOL like "garbage?"  You are being so overdramatic.

EDIT:  The point is that I understand why people are upset with Thane's treatment, but it's not a personal affront to anyone.  It's the direction they took the story.
