I don't have Miranda and I don't care about Oriana and would just play this DLC pre-Sanctuary if that were the case.

not really, no. reptiles (this term is even not scientifically excisting anymore) have realtiv short life span...

Isn't the point of this DLC so that we can get a bit more of the characters we love? The fact that they chose to make it playable only post-coup already makes it so we can't get any content while Thane's alive so they throw some Kolyat at us and call it a day? I don't think so.

If Miranda died no matter what the comparison might be relevant.

Also, a scene with his son could be really really well done. Hell, some of the Shadow Broker files got a lump going in my throat for some chars and they weren't even scenes.

I was (pleasantly) surprised to see Kolyat in the slow pan scene. He's not Thane, but him being present and active is way more than I was expecting. I'm excited to see this, so I hope a Thanemancer is able to post the romance-relevant bits on YouTube tomorrow!

A date with Thane would have been wonderful. Instead we get some funeral and Kolyat.

so is that the big 'complicated and spoilery' surprise JM was tweeting about? yeah, still not buying this. As others have said, at the very least memorial and closure should have been part of the game that shipped last year. I'm not paying money to get a fricking funeral scene or a chat with Kolyat.

On one hand, I am surprised to see Kolyat -- it's actually more than I expected. I thought that a small dialogue, a photo or something along the lines is everything we can hope for.

On the other, I really, really hope it's not a funeral scene. Bioware already killed Thane, and I spent enough time and effort dealing with it, and getting over it, and coming up with a decent headcanon to make up for lackluster in-game content; there really is no need to dance on Thane's corpse to remind us that he's *dead*.

Honestly, I repeat, WTF kind of feedback were they listening to and what the hell was their modus pensandi behind offering THIS to the thane fanbase which they already admitted they let down?

That photo at the end.... Certain character is not there and it feels as if he never existed. As if he never was a part of the trilogy.

No one can ever convince me that BioWare had any good intensions towards Thane and his fans since Chris L'Etoile left.

This DLC screams of injustice and it is a big f**k you to Thanemancers, but I bet there will be lots of people who will say "Oh, how sad scene, it is so emotional! More of it please! I want to see more forced deaths of the LIs that I didn't choose."

Edit: Crimzontearz, you're really awesome for hanging there and backing us up. Thank you. There's nothing we can change, but at least we can let them know that this is not acceptable.

It will be some poorly written funeral, and then Shepard wil go decorate her apartment and gamble like Thane never existed.

They were listening to all kinds of feedback. Listening does not mean implementing in game.

Also really? People were complaining that Thane will get nothing in the DLC, the trailer shows you clearly will get something and now you're saying that nothing would have been better?.. I dont understand people.
Sure, you could say what is in the DLC should have been in game, I agree with that but its better late than never.
