Sure, you could say what is in the DLC should have been in game, I agree with that but its better late than never.

Sure, you could say what is in the DLC should have been in game, I agree with that but its better late than never.

We don't get anything. A maybe funeral is not what we wanted or asked for. We wanted more time with our LI.
Like everyone else in that trailer is getting.

Except most people who didnt romance Thane, wont/dont care about Kolyat. Hes there because of Thane and will most likely have content that those people wont see, content especially for Thanemancers. So it is something just not the some thing half of you wanted which is pre-coup Thane or a cure.

Crazy thought - this is not Thane's funeral, this is opening ceremony for Thane's statue in the Presidium. Samara and Tali can't possibly be present on the Citadel right after Thane's death - Tali, specifically, is on the Migrant Fleet that summoned every quarian alive.

You just had WAY to high hopes. I'm just glad Thane will be mentioned and still be a part of the team, even if he's still dead.

If that scene which may or may not be a funeral is all that Thanemancers get, then yeah I'm going to be disappointed. But I'm going to withhold any judgment until I actually get my hands on it. If there is actual Thane content, like a flashback or holovid message, I'd be disappointed if they spoiled that in the trailer.

Time with our LI before he had died. They could have made this before the coup or Thane could have died later in the game so he would be in the dlc.

We didn't want or ask for some funeral and we didn't want kolyat. He isn't Thane.
What is so hard to understand about that.

Someone suggested it was a funeral. If it isn't a funeral or some kind of memorial I don't see a reason for Kolyat to be there. I doubt he is fighting with us.

Should've been made pre coup, that would have solved it. 
Of course they wont send in Oriana instead of Miranda cause they would never do that to Manshep 
They aleady short changed femshep in romance as it is, whats left for them now, Kaidan if he is alive, or Garrus if he was romanced in 2? As oppsed to what....a possible 5, 6 or 7 LI for manshep :/

People, who don't see injustice here either blind or ... oh, never mind.

Problem with Thane is in fact so complicated, that the DLC, that doesn't add any content before it takes place, couldn't fix it. It needed a patch, that would add an option (difficult and not available in every playthrough) to avoid Thane's immediate death and then, a content for Thane could be added in the DLC, just like for any other LI. That's how problems are solved. Who doesn't believe that Thane should live, would never bother to come back to the moment when Thane still could be saved. There are no words to express how happy Thanemancers would be.

Going back to Dusty's comments earlier in the thread, he said we'd be getting romance-exclusive content. If that scene is a funeral, then it couldn't be what he was referring to, could it? I doubt a funeral would be classified as 'romance-exclusive'.
