"Iron is concentrated in the blood, but some is present in every living cell of the body. Iron's main function is to carry oxygen and carbon dioxide from one body tissue to another via the blood. Most iron is present in the hemoglobin molecule of the red blood cell. Any more than very mild iron deficiency will lead to low hemoglobin levels and anemia"
In ME3 they had Thane say that the proteins (haemoglobin) do not fold correctly and are therefore dysfunctional. It's not about the level of haemoglobin.

Pretty certain, yeah. What with Bailey and the Salarian Councillor also present, it looks like it could be some kind of Thane memorial scene.

What sort of content do you think all players should see, and what should be LI-exclusive?

It's not 100% like CF. If it was Thane would not even be able to be part of the suicide mission in ME2.Bill Casey wrote...

Remeber cf is a mutation. Thane's illness was reseaved basedon the evironment he lived in.

So, what would be everyone's best-case scenario right now? We know Kolyat is present. A funeral may or may not be involved. Other than that, it's up in the air.

All players> memorial scene/funeral... I'm torn between this... a memorial scene will make him justice but I don't want that wound re-opened again.

I also would love for Shepard to speak with Kolyat and offer to look out for him, as Thane would. I would love to see Shepard as a motherly figure, even if he declines.

Thane: "The oxygen transfer proteins don't form correctly. Your human equivalent would be hemoglobin. As a result, my blood is low in oxygen. No matter how much I breathe in, I get tingling, numbness... and that is the best of it. As for my brain, I cannot track the damage. I just experience dizziness from time to time."
Form, not fold...
To me, it means the same thing - the formation of a protein depends on how the protein folds, which depends on the amino acid sequence. Either way, form or fold, it's still implies, to me, it's about function and not level.

Pretty much why we Thanemancers are uset because it's probably all we're getting while everyone else gets long romance scenes. *sigh*
Not necessarily. 4G is a lot of DLC content, but split across 7+ romances? I'd guess the extra romance content per character might amount to the length of one regular ME1/2 romance scene. Then again, that dev who started the sh!tstorm did talk about a "small" amount of content for Thane... I guess we can only stay optimistic.
I agree with others that everyone should get the funeral. I hope there is Thanemance-exclusive time talking with Kolyat that amounts to the time every other LI recieves.

2.cystic fibrosis has hemoglobin problem.
3.So if thane's illness is based on cystic fibrosis and he has hemoglobin problems then...

I'm glad to hear that you are still in good health. Would that I could stand by your side in these dark times. I hope that I'll soon be recovered enough to re-join you.
I find it disquieting in the extreme that your allies are being so petty about forming alliances. How can they not see the great threat looming over us all?"

I disagree - low levels of iron = low levels of haemoglobin, but the haemoglobin that are there are functional. CF does not lead to problems with creation of haemoglobin.
This is not technically on topic so I'm going to leave it there and we can just agree to disagree.

He did quote facts stating it does have Hemoglobin issues. If cf illness have low iron count, it's inherite they have hamoglobin complications.BeanieBat wrote...
