I predict that there would be a funeral of Thane and interaction with Kolyat which every player (assuming Thane survives Collector's Base and is loyal) can see with slightly other choice of words if romanced + Kolyat gives you greybox.

Having the content pre-coup fixed in some way with this DLC is pretty much the only thing that will get me to play it. Of course, I would rather the conversation itself was altered rather than some post-coup revelation to fix it, but if that turns out to be the case and it is done decently, it might work out ok.

I like the idea of having Dalatrass start up a research programme into Kepral's Syndrome... having Salarian minds on the case would definitely be beneficial to the research and the Drell's outcome as a species.

seem to be in attendance. Can't we be happy with what we got?

As you say, we don't know what we've got yet! Who knows, it might make most happy! At the moment it's just speculation and I think you can forgive people if they have little hope about it, considering what has happened in the past... We'll just have to wait and see!

Did anyone else do a playthrough where they were a racist jerkass and systematically killed off all their non-human squadmates possible? I feel like a terrible person, especially since she romanced Thane before he was crushed by a falling beam on the Normandy. And I think she might have also killed Kolyat. I can't remember. FOR SCIENCE!

You can fail the loyalty mission, which is as close as you can get to 'killing him'.

Hell, for all we know, he became a top assassin and got all the ladies.
Or he died.

My mistake, but yes, failed the mission on purpose. Could of sworn there was an option to shoot him or maybe it was the hostage. Been a while.

Kolyat can't die in ME2. I can't even imagine, it'd be Samara's ME3 mission 2x worse.

Kolyat can't be killed, either by actions or inaction of Shepard. But he can wind up in C-Sec prison if you can't convince Bailey with either Paragon or Renegade check.
You can indeed shoot Kolyat (wounding him) or shoot Talid (killing him).

I don't know if this has been brought up because I haven't gone through all 60 pages of comments in this thread so I'll take my chances.

I realize this is far-fetched and maybe crazy but couldn't Bioware have brought back Thane in the form of a flashback? What I mean is, they somehow could have had Femshep remembering some romantic moment she had with Thane before the Coup - one that we obviously would not have seen in-game - and this would have given her the chance (and us!) to be with him in that sense one last time...

My Femshep was a Siha and even though she went back to Kaidan in ME3, I would love to have her with Thane again.

Yeah, they did...jerks. And now, when they can give us last sweet moments with Thane, they... Argh!  So, bioware constantly tell thaneromancers "f*ck you".
