C) Leaning towards ignored now, but I would love to be proven wrong there.

The posters on the last page have pretty much said the perfect words. As for not being negative, it's not easy to be anything else after a year of basically being ignored on the manner as well as all the trolls telling us to "deal with it" and "he was dying." It's so easy to be rude about a character/LI you don't have/don't care about.

Yes, the Trolls have been annoying, both in the past and now. Sadly they seem to have a rather childish mindset.

I am an old ME/ME2/ME3 player. Most of my ME2 romances were Thane.

Not if Kaidan died on Virmire and Garrus was not romanced in ME2.

Garrus is only romanceable if you already locked him in in ME2. You can't start a romance in ME3.

Kaidan only has a 50% chance of getting out of ME1 alive, plus there's the possible coup death.

All the lesbian romances (sans Kelly) are startable in ME3 and it is impossible to lock them out in previous games by choosing the wrong person to die, either because they're newbies (Allers and Sam), or because they've got plot armour Kaidan and Garrus don't have (Liara).

I just wished they had bothered to sculpt an actual medical gown for him, when his condition worsened.

It looks silly when he is in a hospital bed wearing his leather jacket... like you took an action figure and stuck him under a blanket.

Ashley and Kaidan at least didn't wear armor in bed...

It occurs to me that Kasumis quest with the Hanar may also be relevent. It brings Drell and Hanar forces into the war. This increases the chance for blood tranfusions and/or lung transplant.

as of ME3 lung transplant is pretty much useless to Thane because of the magic retcon

I have hope that we'll get a little more Thane content in the DLC as well. Probably not a cure, but anything new is welcome at this point.

If nothing else, a couple of lines of dialog from the other crew members acknowledging his death would be much appreciated.

Ok, that doesn't change the fact that Bailey said there was a blood transfusion issue. More Drell mean possibilities of medical supplies such as Blood/Plasma etc.

Even with blood transfusions or synthetic blood (we have that today btw) the problem remains, his oxygen carrying protein becomes useless, in other words the devs handed a death sentence to Thane because "reasons"

Really, they do? I wonder if my playthrough was bugged. I never heard Liara or Joker say anything about Thane after his death. I even reloaded a save so I could board the Normandy and let the crew get all the 'oooh you drew a gun on Kaiden, how did that feel?' dialog out of their systems before going through the Thane death scene. Still nothing afterwards.

I couldn't find it on youtube either, so if you have a link to the Liara/Joker dialog that would be awesome. I don't know why it still matters to me after almost year, but apparently it does.

I hope so too crimzon, the description of this dlc is "spend time with your LI" not thier son or hanar best friend <_< Look I know people mean well when they say "maybe you'll spend time with kolyat!" like that's JUST as good. But come on everyone is buying this for thier LI, I'm sure they'd be pretty p*ssed too if they found out they were just going to hang around with family members and not the LI themselves.

Liara: you have to prompt her but at least it is there.

Sorry but I can't find Joker on Youtube. It was during a playthrough where I had no romance in ME, only romanced Thane in ME2 and the VS Kaidan, was sent off to serve with Hackett. It was just a quick I'm sorry dialogue. Clicked the dialogue circle straight after coming on board.

The fans modded that one. MEHEM, the High EMS destroy ending mod. Nice, but if your love interest is dead....errr.
