So far only Joker and Liara say anything, I'd expected Garrus and Tali to say something as well. Even if they didn't like Thane, Shepard is their friend.

Really, they do? I wonder if my playthrough was bugged. I never heard Liara or Joker say anything about Thane after his death. I even reloaded a save so I could board the Normandy and let the crew get all the 'oooh you drew a gun on Kaiden, how did that feel?' dialog out of their systems before going through the Thane death scene. Still nothing afterwards.

I couldn't find it on youtube either, so if you have a link to the Liara/Joker dialog that would be awesome. I don't know why it still matters to me after almost year, but apparently it does. :D

Liara: you have to prompt her but at least it is there.

As I understand it, that dialogue with Liara is triggered if Thane dies in the suicide mission, not from his death by Kai Leng. Death by Kai Leng still goes unacknowledged.

I had it as an option after the patch. I think the patch may have solved some bugs in the system (such as the Donnelly/Daniels convos)...and caused others.

So to be fair, I'll say that it may be available.

Now here is to hope they ACTUALLY listened at least to you guys

Well they sure as hell did not listen to the feedback about wanting a reunion scene after high EMS destroy so I hope they at least listened to you

The fans modded that one. MEHEM, the High EMS destroy ending mod. Nice, but if your love interest is dead....errr. Posted Image

interesting wrinkle about that, given Bioware new company live about "interpret it as you like" the MEHEM is technically not a modification of the ending but a visual representation of someone's allowed interpretation of Shepard's fate post ending

Still I an a console player so....

@ Crimsontearz: In some ways you are lucky, the PC version seems to have bug issues, some of which were fixed by the patch and others which have arrived since the patch.

There is some hope. If they somehow saves him. Ill be so happy I... don´t know what to do.

Or get him as a squadmate. Its scary how high that is a dream of mine. Im too personal invested in this game (and Thane). Creepy.

I just kinda assumed the coffee cup scene was just recycled scenes from ME2 (aka DA2) out of laziness.
But Im grasping for straws here, gimme more THANE plz. I will actually buy this DLC!

Life support has no resident team mate, and as Crimsontearz says the cup is still there.

We have hope...

hopefully is good hope as opposed to the hope for a proper reunion scene.

If Merizan was just trolling you like she did with the EC then....well that would just be cruel

I would make a youtube video saying thank you and then I'd buy ALL THE DLC.

Yeah, it's got to be SM-death only because I certainly didn't get that prompt. I remember being annoyed about it because I only had one name to say there and it was Kaidan.

Exactly.
You only get that from Liara if Thane dies in ME2 during the suicide mission. She and Joker say nothing if Thane dies after the fight with Kai Leng. No one mentions him at all after that.

Haha this. I want to like this DLC, really badly and buy the rest of their things too, since the Thane issue is my largest problem with the game.

Damn.

That particular playthrough was weird, I was also snogged by Aria as a full Paragon which is also not supposed to happen. I think I'll back up the other saves and re-install ME3 to try to clear the glitch.

I'll delete that particular save as bugged. Posted Image

Thanks for the heads up!

if all bugs were Aria songs I would be pretty ok with them

I definitely want to hope for Thane content; GOOD Thane content. My point is, not getting a straight yes and instead something vague that can be taken two ways makes it hard to really just assume hell be in it :/

Same here.  Not interested in any ME3 DLC or another playthrough unless I can somehow change Thane's arc.  I want him to at least survive through the end of the game.  That fight with KL was ridiculous.

I certainly didn't expect his total change of character. In ME3, he's back at his pre-romance view of life.
Besides, his fate was not set in stone since the beginning and Bioware gave us many indications for a cure - or at least a prolongation of his life. So, nope, there was hope.
