you know what? They should have given us ending dlc but they will get their's.

When that money stops rolling in and ME4's sales look like a big pile of cow crap it will either wake them up or force them to give it up and scrap future titles.

Money. Money. Money. Profit. Profit. the loudest voice in the room folks. And I hope it screams in their ears until they pop.

As much as I would like the money to stop rolling, it is inevitable that there will still be fans who like the whole aspect of a virtual romance who will continue to throw money at Bioware. Same goes for the MP aspect.

I'm not saying it's gonna be as succesful as ME2 or ME3 sales but it still will be profitable. For the rest of us who liked the whole ME universe and the story...sucks for us.

Oh, get over yourselves, every day you go on with this stuff you look more pathetic and ridiculous. I swear to god, I know accomplished academics who don't show half the entitlement you have over a videogame you played.
And if you guys think this geek community is somehow a big chunck of the market you're seriously in need of a reality check and stepping out of the bubble you live in.

I actually love my little bubble, it plays music, makes me laugh, it just makes life fun. What about your bubble????Image IPB

I applaud the ending and enjoy it because of how memorable it is. It is very anti-cliche. What I mean by this is that going into this game the majority of players (me included) probably were expecting the Best ending to be Shepard lives, goes on with his life and LI and happily ever after, and the worst being total destruction of all the main species and Galaxy. Nobody and I mean nobody could have conjured up the ending situation we ended up getting. And that is why I like this ending because here we are, almost a year later STILL talking and debating this very issue. When has there ever been a game with an ending as controversial, as well known and a subject of heated discussion as big as ME3?

Don't get me started on Fallout 3s ending before Operation: Broken Steel

Why do you feel your are "entitled" to tell someone else how to feel or think, yet they are not "entitled" to not like the ending?

Because people like to support a man who once said "Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully".

People need to stop posting about the ending, it's over. Bioware gave us a FREE EC. Sure the ending was garbage before the EC. All these polls about it are pointless. Now you probably thinking, "Oh, this idiot isn't a true fan, he hasn't played all the mass effects or he hasn't played them long enough." I have in fact I preorderd every single one and have the trilogy. The fact that everyone hates the ending because Shepard dies is ridiculous, I know there is other reasons why people hate it, but, this seems to be the main reason(in my observations). I understand it is not *complete* either. Some people hate it because they didnt get what they wanted. It's biowares game and they can do whatever they want with it. I hate the ending, but I also enjoy it and like it as well but I've found closure with it and I'm definitely getting the next mass effect.

People hate the endings because they were copied from Deus Ex not because Shep dies.  Plus the EC didn't make the endings much better.

I was happy with the EC DLC, plus Bioware are not going to change the endings.

This isn't going away. BioWare's strategy of "ignore it and hope it goes away" is not going to work.

You don't burn someone, ignore their concerns and expect them to forget.

except bioware has addressed the concerns about the ending as best they can without entirely reworking it. sometimes you just gotta let go man. you just gotta let go. go play more videogames. go outside. post insightful commentary on youtube videos

but let the endings go man. you will be consumed by them.

You do realise that nothing is going to happen with endings right?

Which is exactly why people are going to continue complaining until ME4 comes out. They've made their bed, now they get to sleep in it.

So you are going to spend 2-3 years complaining about the ME3 ending.......

I never said I would, but that doesn't mean others won't.

People still complain about the Star Wars Prequels, and that was a decade ago.

Curious: But how do you think that anyone involved with the ending is being in any way effected by complaints about the ending on the forums?

I mean, the only people somewhat associated with Bioware that the complaining reaches is forum mods, and they've got nothing to do with the ending and moreover probably don't care in the slightest.

That's not to say that people shouldn't say whatever they want on the forums or whatever including complaining about the endings. Just was curious as to this reasoning.

On the forums? No.

Might it be reflected ME4's sales? Not sure. I'm sure it will sell well, but I have no doubt that unless they knock it out of the park, it will less than it would have otherwise. I know many who are basically boycotting BioWare. I myself have gone from Pre-Order Collector's Edition to wait and see / bargain bin.

People are bitter, and will continue to be as BioWare continues to ignore the issue.

Maybe, it depends on what it's about and what gameplay is like. If the sales are bad I don't think it will have anything to do with the ME3 endings. I also hope that people on this forum don't spend the next 2-3 years complaining about the endings and move on soon, all the talk about th endings have driven away all of the staff anyway so it's no good going on about it.

I hate to say it, but their PR response is partly to blame. It doesn't excuse the trolls and overtly negative people making personal attacks on BioWare staff, but their response has been less than satisfactory as well.

While I see the intensity of the ending threads declining, I don't see the overall sentiment changing. And I can probably guarentee that 2 years from now, there will still be threads relating to the ending.

And *if* the sales prove disappointing, ME3's ending will most definitely have been partly to blame.

And this is from someone who intends to pick up ME4 so long as it goes back to what made ME great to begin with.

I too can see a thread in the ME4 forums being about the ME3 endings. Anyway it's 4 in the morning here and since I just spelt sales, sails, I think thats my queue to leave. I will pick this up again tomorrow Image IPB
