But he does wear a Krogan's shoulder pad as a trophy.

For that matter, Boba Fett is a Wookiee.

That's it, I'm calling it now. Urdnot Wreav is behind the conspiracy on the Citadel.

?

dude. have you only played the game once? You do realize that if you have Wrex killed, Wreav takes his place in ME3...is so hard to understand this

I am aware of this. I was making a joke. A humorous non-serious assertion made in the attempt of eliciting laughter.

Anyway, Wreav is giving a thresher maw indigestion by the time the Citadel DLC takes place. At least for my Shepard.

well I don't see what makes liara any fun...

but everyone has preference. My preferences are: K.R.O.G.A.N.S.

I'm probably the biggest Wrex/Wreav/Zaeed fan.  I've always brought them in my squad. Grunt also. Jorgal Thurkak IMO is bad**** Krogan that I like to see more of. But probably won't.

so what if Wreav's a big mouth? Are you surprised? All Krogans are. Just play ME2 and go to Tutchanka and see if Wreav is any different then the other Krogans...........

will the Krogan bad**** return? I'm a fan of all Krogans: Fortack, Grunt, Wrex, Jorgal, Dagg and Zaeed

but Wreav was great! I was wondering if Bioware can confirm if I had Wrex die in an save import from ME1 will Wreav replace him? Or maybe Grunt or Jorgal Thurkak? Because this would offer replay value with the DLC to see one playthrough with Wrex another with Wreav (and maybe even Zaeed)

Anyway Bioware if you can respond that be great:happy:

Yes. He is a Krogan and bad a**

Maybe, because if Wrex is dead there could be a great possibilty of Wreav replacing him. About Zaeed is not possible, since his voice actor died Image IPBImage IPB

Glad to see more Wreav fans

About Zaeed, actually Mike Gamble Twittered that before he died he was in the Studio recording for Zaeed. So Zaeed is returning for sure

whether he's a squad mate ......not sure

Zaeed is a Krogan in human form. He survive a freaking gunshot in the head. He had the blood rage flowing through him. He's Krogan through and through... No human can survive that, unless you're the Courier. In the Courier case it was twice. I am surprise that Grunt wasn't hanging out in Zaeed's room listening to old war stories, Zaeed and Wrex/Wreav should be comparing their manhood to see who is the superior Alpha Male.

ME1: It is not the Genophage killing my people, it is their attitude towards it.

ME2: My people will overcome the psychological pain of the Genophage. We do not need it cured to be strong again. I will unite the Krogan by ingeniously controlling and manipulating the limited supply pool of fertile female Krogan.

ME3: CUREZ THE GENOPHAGE!!! Nevermind if this completely contradicts everything I have ever preached, or even goes against sound logic as to why it's not a problem we can't overcome ourselves. And to hell with my limited supply pool of females that is the only thing allowing me to control my war-mongering people. Apparently I'll be able to control them through sheer charisma. And no one will breed a mad army to challenge my rule because Eve will tell the other females to say no. Apparently bloodthirsty Krogan males are all about respecting female autonomy and will never force themselves on them, and no female apparently will ever sympathize with the goal of restarting the Rebellions. CUREZ FTW!!!

I think if a squad mate died there replacement shouldn't be in the Citadel DLC, I don't think any of them are friends to Shepard, just accomplices for the most part.

Wreav is plenty interesting in his own right. I mean, it's cool to see your old buddy Wrex ascend from disgruntled mercenary to king of the krogan and all. But with Wreav, you get to see what a traditional ("real") krogan leader looks like. That's a guy who makes a name for himself by being a bigger, badder, and meaner mofo then the rest. I'm sure that Wrex earned his place largely the same way, you just don't see that side at all from him. For Wreav, it's what defines who he is, and actually makes him a better face of the krogan at large (where Wrex, in Eve's words, is a "mutant").

ME3 Wrex is the least interesting Wrex, really. His role can be summed up as the krogan cheerleader for Shepard (unless you're going the renegade path with the genophage by destroying Maelon's data and/or sabotaging the cure).

I think the writers inadvertantly created an interesting character in Wreav. That is, I don't think they tried to make it anything more than a character to be hated by the player, but that actually made it interesting. Kinda like Morinth.

Wrex in ME2 made reforms to krogan society. We are aware of only two: that he is protecting the females and he established neutral grounds. He never mentioned that they will overcome the genophage psychologically. It is obviously suggested in ME1 that he wants a cure for his people. Also this war with the Reapers will take a toll on krogan numbers, so it's obvious they need the cure in order to continue as a species; otherwise they will die off.

Yes, Wrex made reforms in ME2. But the only reason he's even pulling as much political power as he is despite going so heavily against tradition is because he's in control of the most valuable resource on Tuchanka: fertile femlae Krogan.
If you talk to him in ME1, he stresses constantly that the Genophage may have sterilised his people, but it was not killing them. The problem was the nihilistic attitude the Krogan gained about themselves because they incorrectly believed they were doomed. He'll even reinforce this idea if you talk to him after Virmire.
A more consistent demand from Wrex in ME3 would have been to, say, raise the viability of the Genophage from 0.001% to 0.005%. It gives the Krogan a massive boost in their chances for a sustainable population while simultaneously ensuring they're still not a threat to the galaxy and their virility is still limited enough for Wrex to control them. And jumping from 1 kid to 5 kids at birth would also quickly remove the misconceived notion of the average Krogan that their future as a species was doomed.

Yes I remember that he stressed that, but he turned on you when a possible cure was discovered on Virmire which he could die if you can't change his mind. The reforms that he was doing was to unify the krogan were also meant to change the attitude of the krogan, but he, like all krogan, wanted a cure for the genophage. Whether or not it's consistent with what he has been saying is your opinion; however, from where I stand, his ultimate goal was to cure his kind from the genophage.

ME1: Wrex is a bounty hunter and of course he would blame his people. He already had given up.

ME2: Are you sure you don't confuse Wrex with Okeer? As far as I recall, Wrex is just doing his best. Curing the genophage seems outright impossible, you can figure that the Krogan can't do it themselves and also that the STG or even the Spectres would make sure it doesn't happen.

ME3: Wrex has realized that his ME2 plan does not work anymore if the last of his people are thrown into total war. He figures that if the genophage isn't cured, whichever remains of the Krogan won't be enough to ensure their own survival. The EC proves him correct.

I only see development here, not inconsistency.

I only see development here, not inconsistency.

ME1: Debatable. If you talk him down at Virmire and talk to him on the Normandy immediately afterward, he'll admit you were right because the genophage was never the problem.

ME2: Mordin and Okeer's arguments ultimately prove that Wrex was right in his assertion. The genophage's infant mortality rate is enough for a sustainable population if the Krogan themselves weren't so damn nihilistic. Wrex also never brings up the need for a cure. As far as he is concerned, the Krogan can rise up with his reforms without a cure entering the equation.

See my earlier response to Godzilla. If Wrex had demanded a cure that alleviated mortality rates from 0.001% to 0.005%, for example, this would be more consistent with everything he preached in the previous games since it would help the Krogan get out of their psychological rut but keep them contained. Remember that, unlike Wreave, Wrex did not conquer the Krogan through brute force, but through manipulating the supply pool of fertile females. A 100% cure = Wrex losing all political power, and an inevitable restart of the Krogan Rebellions. How exactly is he going to control the Krogan? Through charisma? Or is he as naive as Eve that he believes Krogan males will understand No Means No and that there are no angry females who also want to restart the Rebellions?

I just felt that the way ME3 presented Wrex with such an obstinate attitude towards curing the genophage was bizzarely out-of-character.

They have limited time and resources. I'd rather have them focus their attention on Wrex instead of worrying about Wreav as well. This dlc is supposed to focus on every character who was a squadmate to Shepard. Going the extra mile and adding content for all of the replacement characters ( ie- Wreav, Padok) would mean less content involving the actual squadmates.
