It's not a meteor, we're not getting a new Hazard map. The "meteor" in the picture is a plain old shot from a Scion's cannon that just so happened to be standing at the top of a ramp on the Hydra map. The angle of the camera only makes it look like it's coming down from a steeper angle than it actually is.

At present, we have 5 factions (if you include unknown), 4 difficulties, ~20maps (not going to count them). That is 400 different combinations, and each map will increase that combination by another 20, which makes it hard for users who want to play a specific combination.

That's kind of a dumb thing to say because if someone wants to play a specific combination they can set it that way when creating the lobby instead of unknown/unknown.......

It isn't dumb, if you always play unknown/unknown then you wouldn't see the problem, but some people like to play against maybe just one faction or a certain map so say you wanted to play Hazard Ghost/Cerberus/Gold, if no lobbies are available with your choice then you can end up in a U/U/G, U/C/G, or HG/U/G so you aren't always guaranteed with a lobby meeting your choice. If more maps were added then there would be an even smaller chance of you ending up in the lobby you wanted.

Eric/Brojo: Is the SMG/Pistol Power Amp mod thingy a real item? It was in the rumors... that sounds like something that could really help bring up the DPS of power spam classes. I was looking forward to it.

Also... what are you guys doing up so late, working on a Friday night?
