I get being disappointed or even a little upset by the lack of a co-op mode (God knows I fantasized about it a lot after the Reddit leak) but I've never seen anyone who actually works for Bioware come around these parts and be negative or spit on people. They genuinely want to do good work and genuinely want to please as many people as they can.

That's pretty rare for a developer, and despite any fluctuating feelings I might have, it's not forgotten. I've complained on these boards about the Collectors freezing my PS3 so many times. I've said "they just don't care" out of frustration. The truth is, they really do care, but there are a thousand factors that go into fixing or not fixing it.

I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment buried beneath a lot of anger and rude posts in this thread (no co-op is super disappointing) but if you're intelligent enough to know that "literally" can be used figuratively, you should try and remember that the people you're posting about are in fact people.

I just love how some people are so full of themselves that they automatically assume that THEIR singleminded opinions must represent the majority. I for one have never cared for multiplayer. I bought and played Mass Effect purely for the single player experience. And after finishing that experience, it was a just a bonus that i ended up falling in love with the multiplayer!
And i'd just like to remind everyone how much DLC Bioware provided for us FREE.
There's just no pleasing some idiots...

I have heard that text chat will be a resource hog and cause lag issues. So they dropped it to give us better quality of game play.

Look man - there is a lot I want as well. Like a full auto (4500 RPM) 20mm Uzi that shoots hydrogen bombs capable of cutting the planet in half with 3 shots and holds 50 bazillion rounds in the mag........

They gave us what they could - they did what they could - in good faith. Why are we judging them before we have even seen what we are getting?

Seriously, take a break man. Go relax. Disconnect from the Matrix for a few. For a full year and almost (in my case) 1200 hours of played time - We have had a lot of fun! Don't pre-judge the material. Don't judge the people who brought us all of this fun too harshly. They are experts in their fields, and spend their own time with us. I know they consider what we want - but honestly.... it can't all happen. Thats just the plain hard truth of life.

Look for the good in their work - there is a lot of it. You would not be here unless you love the game as much as we do. Look for the good in the people who share all of this with us - brought us all of this wonderful game.

It is true that "text chat" is requested since the beggining and the motivation for not implementing it eludes me and a lot of people here. And I don't talk about an ambassador but just considering the requests I have seen here on BSN since the very begining. This is just a critic, nothing more, as I can live without but it helps a lot of (pc) players to have a chat instead of a mic (or in complementarity)

I think I'll keep posting, Derping Dragon.  Especially because about half of my games are on the pc and I see no distinction or magical personal improvement from playing the PC games I have.

Actually we all haven't asked for new game modes. Only some on BSN have. I could give a f*** about new game modes.

Personally, I feel BioWare has gone far, far above and beyond my expectations for a first iteration of a multiplayer game in support and DLC.
