Nah, I'm throwing my money at nostalgia for one last ride. Good luck with that, though.

You have every right to buy it and i'm not sulking in a corner. I just think that people are happy with anything thrown at them at this point and will fork over any amount to get it.  If they can get away with it at $15 why not the $20 in future titles. Even if this was $20, they would win many over with the 4GB deal and squad reunions.

And if the dlc turns out to be a dissapointment, then the ones who paid $15 will be the upset ones. I will enjoy or hate it on Youtube, without spending the $15.

Again, this was just an attempt on my part, if you don't want to join me that's your choice. I'm not forcing you. I truly hope you all enjoy the final dlc if you do buy it and if it is something you wanted out of the game. If the conspiracy turns out to be something interesting I will enjoy discussing it with all.

4GB of fresh DLC content for 15 dollars seems pretty fair.

Nah, I haven't played Omega dlc yet. Planning to though. Going to get both Omega and Citadel dlc together.

The Batavian preacher was proven to be right in the end, Humans (the Mass Effect 3 writers) doomed the Galaxy.

Incorrect. At least he got awesome when ME3 rolled around. Giving great speeeches to the men to raise moral against cerberus.

OP will remain OP, and will have no awesome speech to give men going into battle for their home station.

I'm boycotting it assuming it's not ending-related. Might make a difference for ME4.

@ SyK18 If this DLC doesn't change the ending in anyway, i will join you in not buying this slap to the face from Bioware.

It's simple, a lot of people will buy this DLC to see just how much Bioware really has listened to their fans. If the DLC sucks and fails to restore faith in Bioware then people simply won't buy future titles (ME4). This will destroy the company.

However, if Bioware wows their audience with this DLC, then people will have nothing to complain about as far as the series has gone thus far.

The ball is directly in Bioware's court here and i am willing to give them a last chance. They created ME1 and ME2 so they clearly have the potential to win their fan's hearts and minds again. But we shall see on the 5th of march.

I know I'll be buying it. Not participating in such a childish boycott.

1. They won't fix the endings. Stop whining and learn to deal with it.
2. This was the 2nd most requested DLC after the endings and so they are doing it. I don't see why BSN is suddenly mounting the barricades again.

This logic is not logic at all. You knew months ahead of time that this dlc would not address the ending. It has been told to you numerous times. A child would have comprehended that we will not be getting ending dlc by this point. And yet you still claim that somehow this dlc will be ending related, and will be angry at bioware if it does not change the ending, despite being told flat out that it won't.

This isn't a slap to the face, this is you calling someone giving you a gift you don't like a slap in the face. In other words, a parallel to the infamous sweet 16 show where a spoiled brat claimed her party was ruined becasue her parents gave her a fully functioning blue luxury car instead of a red one.

I don't know about you OP, but I enjoy character driven moments and the general direction of the DLC. That's why so many people were so upset by the ending - because of the fates of the characters. To isolate yourself from what you enjoyed about the game because of the ending seems sort of cart before the horse.

They told us many, many times that it wasn't going to change the ending. Even before the announcement.

They at least have been upfront and honest about this being the final DLC and how it wouldn't change the ending anyway. I appreciate that, even if I would have liked modifications. I'm with you that it's annoying, but if you ignore the ending element, it's what many fans asked for: less Omega hallway shooting, more focus on the characters we'll probably never see again.

I'm honestly happy with the idea of what we're getting so far because this is the stuff we enjoyed about this game. They clearly listened to us in some respect about what we like best about Mass Effect.

It's not perfect, but I'd rather have one more adventure filled with dialog from my favorite characters than still be unhappy about the ending and never play it.

For some people so does $20.
