From Ashes: Loved it.
Extended Cut: It improved the endings for me.
Leviathan: Pretty good.
Omega: Enjoyed that one a loot.
Citadel DLC: Will probably like that too.

I love Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3. I love it's story, characters, and gameplay.
I am currently obsessed with the trilogy and I have been for a long time.
I have purchased every dlc for all 3 games up to this point.
I believe I will be buying this one as well.

You're free to pursue that strategy, but at this point, it seems akin to promising to hold one's breath until they get their way when nobody is paying attention anymore.
Casey Hudson said this: "You are Commander Shepard."
I've been holding my breath since 3:20 a.m. on March 22, 2012. It appears no one has been paying any attention, anyway, so I guess I might as well let out the breath and just die. Casey decided to leave me to rot since "I am Commander Shepard."
I feel disenfranchised. I'm not buying. If they fixed this one scene I was going to buy all of the DLC. It didn't happen, so that's not going to happen. I'm glad I held the wallet.
Maybe someday the company will get sold again and they'll learn how to write a story again. One can only hope.

I agree it is deff Overpriced and for the amount of content insinuated(not proven) it makes Omega that much more of an overpriced DLC. For all of those bashing the Op. Prove this DLC is worth 15$ and is not overpriced.
I have to admit though I did not buy Omega and there is a chance I will buy this one,but I will learn what is actually in this DLC before I decide to spend the money. (Replaying ME2 so I can import a Jack LI save file as I deleted my previous save files when I bought my new system.Just in case.)Also I am getting 1600 "free" points from Microsoft and I will still wait to see exactly what this DLC entails. Random Interpretations and speculations are also not enough for me.
As it sits right now this DLC is nothing more then a random mystery box with a very general and brief description with a 15$ price tag.
Attempting a Boycott is a waste of time though sorry Op.(IMO) Op is also stating if this DLC does well what is to stop BW and other companies from inflating their DLC prices based solely on sale numbers and not Quality or etc. (Assumption)
I agree and have stated this to be a wasted attempt but i got time to waste and i am just trying to prove a point for a franchise I want to see flourish for both the creators and the gamers. I appreciate the clarity of that point in your final para.
I do actually regret putting up this post because other than a handful of replies (including yours) I have seen nothing but people who are willing to buy this dlc just in spite towards me. It really is sad when others are willing to see you fail than to succeed together.
Maybe I'm wrong and maybe these people already decided they were going to purchase it. But from the attacks i have read in this thread alone it seems unlikely. Again, not everyone, but a majority.

I know people have tried to stop others from buying Omega and Leviathan because the ending does not change and they hated it and don't want to support Bioware. And i know it's just my opinion I 'm stating and it's your right to buy whatever you want.
But is it possible for all to not buy the DLC?? Is it possible for fans to just say enough is enough? Is this DLC really worthwhile if it does not change the most important part in this game (in my opinion)??
So you want people to not buy something they'd enjoy, in the futile hope this will make Bioware make something you'd enjoy, that the first group of people might have no interest in?
Seriously?

that doesn't mean this might not be the kind of dlc people actually wanted in mass effect, the only gripe i have with it is that it contains everything mass effect 3 should have had in the game

Is this really worth $15?? Why is it, as fans and consumers, we have so little to no control over what we purchase from companies like EA?? Why can't we as a collective decide "NO!! we will not buy this $15 joke of a DLC!"?
Of course you have control over what you purchase from companies like EA. In fact you have complete control over what you purchase from companies like EA.
Why do people buy things that you don't like?

1. They won't fix the endings. Stop whining and learn to deal with it.
2. This was the 2nd most requested DLC after the endings and so they are doing it. I don't see why BSN is suddenly mounting the barricades again.
LI relationships could have been improved just as much with a completely different story.
Casino gambling and apartment decoration are just adding to that social experience and the Citadel conspiracy is just a way to make more sense out of it than "I'm bored, let's go to the Citadel and hang out more than usual".
It makes a lot more sense you'd need the squad of all three games for an epic Reaper battle than fighting goons on the Citadel.

I have to say given the hundreds (and I do mean hundreds) of hours playing the Mass Effect Games, I thank Bioware for the 3 games, and while I disagree with the ending to the trilogy (which in my opinion cheapened Mass Effect 3), I loved 90% of the games. The Devs disagree with me and am sure plenty of folk on BSN do as well and thats fine, my opinion is no less or more valid than anyone elses, its all subjective.

Look, I already know that the ending is not gonna change since they decided that this is the final DLC. I f we can show some restrain into buying this it will help for future titles. That is all I'm gonna say on that. You want to buy it go ahead. NOT STOPPING YOU!!! But i will not blindly throw money at Bioware.

Boycotts generally aren't based on you getting something for nothing while the larger group gets nothing for something.

boycotts take many different forms, the basic principle is to send a message to, usually, the company being boycotted.TheBlackBaron wrote...

I'm actually looking forward to this DLC. It will have Mass Effect 2 characters, and Bioware usually does a fantastic job with DLCs. So yeah, boycott or not, the damage is done, and punish Bioware if you want, but I personally am simply going to continue to operate on the 'if I like it, I'll buy it' policy. I stopped buying Star Wars stuff simply because I lost interest after the prequels. But I didn't do so with malice because they ruined the franchise for me. I just...sort of stopped caring. While the ending of ME3 was a horrible disappointment for me, and really left me sour to playing any Bioware stories for awhile, thankfully, it hasn't ruined all of Mass Effect for me. I did go through the five stages of grief. But I find myself still caring to see what this DLC has to offer, so I'm planning on buying it.

But just blindly follow Bioware after they've burned me? Fool me once...
