I'll probably wait a couple of days after release to read the various user reviews, and form an opinion from there.

Well, I wasn't going to buy any DLC that wasn't going to fix the horrid endings. However in my sig I've also had a statement there forever about supporting a Citadel DLC with more crew interactions and Bioware is giving us that. So yay! I've decided now to do one last full play through of mass effect ( 1 to 3) with all of the DLC's including the ME3 ones that i haven't purchased yet. At least Bioware did listen to the community on some things.
Don't jump to conclusions too soon, good buddy; let's wait and see what this Citadel DLC contains.
If its a post ending DLC then I will buy it. If it is then they have listened after all.
I did not say I expect it to be post ending - I said one of the things OTHER then post ending that I have been asking for was a DLC with more crew interactions on the Citadel. Which is going to be in this DLC.

If devs dont have to make AAA games(that require more TLC and money) then they wont because people keep buying C and B games that are cheap to make. The point it to let them know that we want AAA games and put some TLC in them.
I'm not sure I'd use "AAA" there. It's not like ME3 was a particularly cheap game to make. Substantially more dialogue than the previous games, for instance.
The argument would make sense over on the DA boards, since DA2 was an attempt to walk back a bit from the excessive costs of DA:O; Bio's never denied it.

A big "maybe" from me.
Am I the only one who read that MAYYYYBEEE in Mr. Torgue's voice?
Ontopic: Hell yeah gonna buy it. I'm suddenly very nostalgic about Mass Effect. Won't let go of the last chance to see my Shepard in action..

I'm just trying to understand Kev's pov. This certainly isn't a case like that^. Even the people who rage against ME3 daily have to concede that some of the game (some tiny part somewhere) was enjoyable. And maybe just give this one dlc a chance.

Gullible? Yes. I kept thinking, "Hey, it's Gearbox and Aliens. They even have Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen. The studio is even calling it canon. What could possibly go wrong?"
It is a different thing, Kev. Gearbox did try to make a good Aliens game. It's evident when you play it. They just fell short. However, several things that fans have said they wanted appear to be in this new dlc. I'm giving it a shot because I love this series despite the faults and miss steps.

You are all wrong. He is trying to state, just like I have been, if you can refrain from buying this dlc, whether it is spectacular or a bitter dissapointment, to show Bioware that we will not just settle for just anything. We want something that will exceed in creativity all your previous games and dlc. And I know a lot of you have been saying "but this is what we all asked for" and this might be the wrong time to do this whole boycott deal. But i really think that this will send them a message for future titles and other companies to realize that "we will take a stand against this type of dlc".
We should not HAVE to pay for "character interaction" like this. If we give in so much, we will be digging a hole for gamers everywhere. And if you choose to buy it, feel free, nobody is stopping you.
You have a brain, its your money, and I truly hope for those of you who wanted this are happy and satisfied with it at the end. But Kev and I and a select few will try to take a stand for the future of gaming. You might think this is a wasted attempt but I believe its something.
If I have not clarified your point Kev' do let me know. The rest of you, I really can't explain it further.

No. While Aliens games don't have a great track record outside of the pc, Gearbox does (Don't mention Duke Nukem please. Although, I suppose that should have been a warning sign).

They knew that the game was bad before they released it as per an employee made known at IGN.

The point Kev is trying to make is of a longer picture in the future of video gaming. None of you are interested in his pov, or mine, because you think he is attacking your right to want, play, like and enjoy the Citadel DLC.

Actually your right on my point.
I do think that no matter how this goes I think that Bioware and other devs will NOT forget this.

Yes, but my point is you seem to be taking a stand against what could be the best dlc for this game. If you were to boycott anything in ME3, it should have been much earlier than now.

As for this one; yay my Shepard can gamble and have an apartment, then go nonsensically die horribly due to insane troll logic from the Reaper god.
And stop dissing lemmings; they do not "hurl themselves off cliffs". That's just a rumour, like ostriches sticking their heads in the ground.

I'm gonna be buying the DLC, just as I have all the DLC thus far. I've been very satisfied with Mass Effect 3 as a whole and wish to further support Bioware in their endevors.

Try a week, a day at least. I mean its not that hard for every ME fan to say "I've waited this long, it's just another day" Just try something.

Sorry, I can't boycott something for a cause I might not agree with. How do I know I won't love this? And why would I boycott something that I love?
