There's all that, "baby," talk and, "I knew it was really you the first time I touched you again." Then you've got that scene at the Normandy wall where she just FEELS Shepard is still alive and won't put up the plaque because their love reached across space and time.

When Shep is an old geezer, Liara will still be blue and hot!

Yeah, I may end up old, and falling apart, but she's just going to get bigger.

At least I'll die happy, and she'll have a kid from me. It's fine. I'll see her again someday along with Little Shepard the Blue Baby.

Liara says that Asari Partners become a part of them. Liara would most likely move on, but she'd always have a special place in her heart for her first love, a place that nobody else can fill.

Even if you aren't her love interest, Shepard means a lot to her.

This is why I wanted Samara to be a love interest. She is near the end of her life.

And if you chose Destroy and are laying in the pile of rubble, the writers didn't care. So does it doesn't matter at all.... so I leave you with one of the greatest rock songs ever performed.

Uhhh, one of the reasons I chose to Control the Reapers was so that I could make sure Liara never had to fear such a thing happening to her again. By choosing Control I can keep her safe for the rest of her life, anyone tries to hurt her and they'll have a Destroyer on their heels. 

Don't pretend you know my motives for doing what I did.

I see no reason why Reaper Shepard can't interact with their friends in a similar way that EDI communicates with organics (through a body, through voice, virtually...).
I don't expect that any/all love interests would be receptive towards continuing a relationship, but that doesn't mean all communication needs to be cut off.
