I'm gonna go with the third one.... don't know why, though.

Mass Effect 2 by far. ME3's Normandy SR2 was alittle too dark and kind of messy with all those cable and boxes around.

I have to go with the ME 2 Normandy. The thing about the ME 3 Sr 2 is that because it's being retrofitted, it feels like the upgrades of the Me2 Sr-2 were taken down. Idk me3 sr-2 , because it was incomplete, felt the most fragile. Me 2 sr2 felt the most solid. Like others have said, it felt like ti could go to war or explore systems. The layout of me2 sr2 felt the best as well.

ME2's Normandy was the best. TIM clearly made it as a portable base and his design was better. While I love the War Room in ME3, they took out cool features like the lab for bs.

OT: But they deifnitely stole the war room look from Star Wars peisode 6 when they discuss on destroying the Death Star.

SR1 just because of the music and lighting. They went hand and hand. The music gave me a much deeper "outer-space" feeling, and the blue lighting enhanced the illusion even more.

There's also the fact that everything was a smooth transition. I liked having no loading screens between levels, and actually heading towards the door to exit the Normandy was awesome.

I'm actually surprised I'm in the minority here. To an extent anyway. I prefer ME3's Normandy mostly because I love the lighting. It follows beautifully with the game's crimson red and navy blue color scheme and the dark lighting reflects the mood of ME3 greatly.

SR2.2 followed closely by the SR1. Didn't care for the SR2.1

ME1 or ME3. ME2 was fine but I'd probably hang out down by Jack playing guitar in the dark.

ME2. It just looks nicer with the Cerberus colors.

I like the livery of the SR-1 the best, but the interior of the SR-2.

External looks: SR1

Internal looks: Cerberus SR2

Atmosphere: Tie between SR1 and Cerberus SR2; Alliance SR2 just felt empty and lacked atmosphere to me; it literally just felt like I was in another generic ship. The first two had the atmosphere where you felt you were not only in space but were doing something immensely important and under the radar. The third one felt bland and devoid of any atmosphere.

The ME2 Normandy I think. It was an awesome step up from the ME1 Normandy experience, and the only downside I can think of was the silliness of not being allowed into rooms of my own ship until a relevant "specialist" was recruited.

ME3's Normandy didn't really offer any improvements other than on-ship shopping, and having to go through that stupid scanning thing after every single mission was as annoying as hell!

Aesthetically, Cerberus SR2 all the way. It was beautiful and classy. It didn't exactly feel homey but Alliance SR3 looked like a junk heap and a general safety hazard on the inside. I get why it was like that, but I honestly thought we'd see a gradual repair of the interior through the course of the game. With all the dicking around Shepard did, I don't see why there wasn't enough time to at least send one of the door guards through the place with a roll of duct tape. And it was too damn dark.

The general atmosphere of the SR1 is ballin', though...but then again, it was the only game in the series that, to me, had that certain je nais se quoi that gave it a true sci-fi feel.

SR1 followed closely by Alliance SR2 (ME3).

The Cerberus design is pretty stupid in my opinion. It seems more like an sterile office building that's full of cubical drones straight out of the 80s.
