OT: But they deifnitely stole the war room look from Star Wars peisode 6 when they discuss on destroying the Death Star.

There's also the fact that everything was a smooth transition. I liked having no loading screens between levels, and actually heading towards the door to exit the Normandy was awesome.

SR1 just because of the music and lighting. They went hand and hand. The music gave me a much deeper "outer-space" feeling, and the blue lighting enhanced the illusion even more.

Internal looks: Cerberus SR2
Atmosphere: Tie between SR1 and Cerberus SR2; Alliance SR2 just felt empty and lacked atmosphere to me; it literally just felt like I was in another generic ship. The first two had the atmosphere where you felt you were not only in space but were doing something immensely important and under the radar. The third one felt bland and devoid of any atmosphere.

ME3's Normandy didn't really offer any improvements other than on-ship shopping, and having to go through that stupid scanning thing after every single mission was as annoying as hell!

The general atmosphere of the SR1 is ballin', though...but then again, it was the only game in the series that, to me, had that certain je nais se quoi that gave it a true sci-fi feel.

The Cerberus design is pretty stupid in my opinion. It seems more like an sterile office building that's full of cubical drones straight out of the 80s.
