OP I don't even know what to say. . .that is simply disgusting.  First of all those people were horrible humans beings and anything they said is not worth paying attention to.  Second they were morons; whether they liked you or not is irrelevant towards doing the escort, they kinda screwed themselves over on that one.  Both prove players like that are simply not worth your time.

I would offer to play with you though I am on PC :/.  In either case I am so very sorry you had to deal with people like that but don't let those idiots get in the way of your enjoyment.  It's their problem, they can deal with it on their own time.

 That sucks, bro.  I'm on xbox and had a similar experience when I let slip a couple of spanish curse words in a public game.  They called me a "spic ******" and other delightfully inventive names. <_<  I also come from a place not particularly noted for its tolerance, Alabama.

It really irks me how ramapant hate and bigotry are both in the online game community and the internet in general. When are all these immature man-boys gonna grow up and realize there's nothing wrong with being gay?

I remember this is why I stopped RP'ing in World of Warcraft. For some reason some d-bag RP'er got it in his head my character was gay and started insulting me both in-character and out of character. I was actually having fun trolling him by mock flirting with him but soon like five other anti-gay people began backing him up andI eventually just logged out in frustration.

Keep fighting the good fight OP, even if that means having to play without a mic for a while.

Unfortunately I failed to see two Geth Hunters and was quickly taken down, As soon as I went down the people in the match began to insult me further using derogatory terms. I got pretty fed up so I began to retaliate and things escalated from there. 

 I ultimately decided to leave the match because it was 3 friends against me and I didn't want to be verbally abused any longer. The worst part about this? I'm hardly surprised that this happened, because it has happened before. As such I've decided to solve the problem simply by no longer using a mic.

 So yeah, that was my day, how are you? 

This is so sad to hear but hell what you should have doen is played some music full blast in the mic that way they could be annoyed and not hear each other lol revenge is sweet they can fight dirty so can you screw them dont let them get you down.

Ya I play on Xbox too and ever since my Mic broke most people with Mics see that as an opportunity to berate a player since I can't retaliate. I remember about a week ago I was playing against 3 people and they were just ****s, the Salarian Inf was just yelling at me for everything, cursing at me because I was in cover on "his wall" and 10th wave I got down for first time and all of them were laughing that they weren't gonna pick me up, so I didn't even revive.

Even though I ended up in 2nd place (truthfully we were all close together with over 100 points) they all treated me like sh@t cuz they could.

If you want you can friend me, gt is forum name, don't have a mic right now but I don't talk much anyway and I can still here you guys if you need help, I can play gold with just about anybody but I only excel at Platinum with the Huntress/Volgineer (I properly play him, don't shield spam) atm.

Someone was making fun of my Xbox live gamertag in a match once and he said "It should be weep, not wept" and his friends started cracking up. After that, I corrected him by saying: "Wept is past tense of weep...". He didn't say a word the rest of the match and his buddies didn't either, rofl!

That being said, people are jerks. Best just to ignore it.

I don't use my mic in PuGs either, though I've never had an experience like that.

It's an unfortunate reality, but it's easier to work as part of a team with someone if I don't know that they are a bigotted douchebag. I play it safe, rather than sorry.

But I have to say they are pleasantly in the minority in the ME 3 MP community that I've experienced, which certainly doesn't forgive the few.

I'm sure other have stated it, but you should absolutely report them to XBL for griefing and perhaps to BioWare, as well.

In all likelihood, three people who would do that have done it before, and over time, they will likely face consequences if consistently reported.
