I've never heard it described like that. Nice. Seriously though OP, that isn't right. I'm glad you weren't upset about it and moved on.   So today to prepare for reckoning I decided to get into some Multiplayer matches to farm credits whilst using a mic for better communication and such in gold. I didn't say anything in the lobby because I wasn't really paying attention, but as soon as the game started and I began to communicate problems began to occur. 

 You see I'm gay and I have a minor lisp. It's not like it's even really noticeable, I'm not loud or obnoxious when speaking, I don't sound like a Woman. Just some words I say end up coming out a little gay, you'd have to be listening pretty intently to even notice. But these douchebags noticed, halfway into the match I said I'd need help with the escort, I noticed that nobody was coming to help me, thinking that they hadn't heard me I repeated myself. The response I got back was "We don't help ****s" followed by laughter and jeering from the two other people.

  I just kind of shrugged it off, they were just friends being jerks or whatever. I could probably solo the escort too so I just let it slide. Unfortunately I failed to see two Geth Hunters and was quickly taken down, As soon as I went down the people in the match began to insult me further using derogatory terms. I got pretty fed up so I began to retaliate and things escalated from there. 

 I ultimately decided to leave the match because it was 3 friends against me and I didn't want to be verbally abused any longer. The worst part about this? I'm hardly surprised that this happened, because it has happened before. As such I've decided to solve the problem simply by no longer using a mic.

 So yeah, that was my day, how are you? 

Could be worse you could be that guy sued Microsoft for banning his gamertag, which was his real full name Dick Gaywood. 
But what happend to you that still sucks, I think its technically illegal to do what they did maybe a cyber hate crime or something.

I usually stick to party chat or just don't use a mic. I've been on XBL for around 5 years now and I've managed to never experience anything like this. The times I have been in game chat it has generally been pretty good. I've talked to some funny people and had some good times. Maybe I 'm lucky, maybe it's because I'm set to Recreation, I don't know. What I do have to say is: it was smart to not lose your temper. That's what these people want. If I was the one getting bashed like that Imwould have just completely ignored the, muted them, reported them, avoided them, and blocked them.

If I was just another random in the match and just overheard the hate, I would be pissed. I have an involuntary complex to be defensive of people, even if I don't know them, or even if I hate them. I don't know why I do it, but making fun of people and complaining about people ****** me off to no end, and a flurry of condescending comments would have spewed into the game chat.

Sidenote: **** yeah BSN. This can possibly be one of the most condescending and trolly places, but the community spirit is ****ing amazing.
