Hello,

I recently upgraded my OS to Windows 7 from Windows XP Pro 64. I had occasional game crashes under the old OS which I had hoped would've been resolved when I upgraded to Windows 7. I only ever have the problems when I try to play DA: O. At times, I may go several hours without any issues. Some times, it's five minutes in.

I've updated my video drivers to the current nVidia build, and my sound drivers are up-to-date as well.

When I've checked the Windows 7 Action Center and reliability history, the crashes are video hardware errors. Any ideas?  My video card is an nVidia 8800 GT.

As I'm not technically savvy, I'm not entirely sure what information I should provide. Any help that can be given is greatly appreciated. Posted Image

Video Hardware errors usually point to buggy drivers. You may want to go to nvidia.com and try a different driver or reinstall the one that you are using.

OK, I think I'll try an older driver--186--to see if that will work. If not, then I will reinstall 195. :) Thanks!
