So, is there any faster way to solve this well-known problem than contacting the EA support? Because my "approximate wait time is 55-60 minutes". Last time I contacted the EA support it took about twice the time it was supposed to...

Sorry, but no. Twitter might work but it's not available during the weekend.

Try changing your password, that has fixed the issue for a few people.

No, I don't have any idea why...

For some reason Origin doesn't even let me change my password, the changes that were supposed to be saved weren't...
Well, at least my wait time jumped to 15-20 minutes, I might get this solved withing the next hour.

"You approximate wait time is under 5 minutes" - I got that message for an hour. Then it jumped to 10-15 minutes.

Hope you're lucky tho.

Did it have upper-case letters?

A friend mentioned that these were now required.

It did. Origin said the changes were saved but they weren't, I noticed when I wanted to change my password to the old one again.

Not at this time of the day or weekend. I was going to say you can ask them on twitter because they fixed mine in like 5 minutes after I sent the tweet, but their hours are 9am - 6pm CST M-F

If you get a longer wait time, just close the box and try again. Sometimes it seems the wait is random.

"Sorry, there are no advisors available at this time."
F*ck you, EA.

I can´t play since yesterday and I´m not familiar with the twitter (I didn´t need it so far - I know, I´m weird). I posted a msg in one of topics on Answer HQ on help.ea.com (cause Live chat-no advisors available). Guess now I´ll have to wait. If anyone managed to solve this problem or has an advice how to reach EA to actually solve this problem, let me/us know.

edit:

here is a link to the older thread from yesterday - same problem. Guess this operation messed it up for more people.

Well, the live chat is available again but the wait time for me is 30-35 minutes (which should be 1-2 hours in real time...)

Ouch, good luck with that, my OH spent 2 hours waiting on live-chat and a further 2 hour-long phone calls to EA UK before all of his DLC was reactivated. Be persistent and give them all of the information regarding your versions and DLC so that they can (hopefully) fix it more quickly.

I got a ticket on live chat - wait time approx 55-60 min. Waited for an hour, got on line with the support, 5 min spent on formalities (email, ID, serial code), 3 min. on their space magic - and problem fixed. So their is a way to solve this.

I don't know why this would matter but maybe it's worth a shot. Try changing you're email/password via you internet browser rather than Origin itself?

I tried to change the password on origin and that didn´t work - perhaps this might help. But having my problem fixed through online support, I can´t verify this now.

I don't know, strange things fix stuff sometimes. There was a point where I was getting constant disconnects and someone suggested changing the e-mail linked to my account. You can't actually change your e-mail via Origin (you have to use your browser, or at least you did at the time) and it worked.

I used origins advisor help chat thing. No matter what I did via web page I couldn't speak to a live advisor. It took around 15 mins but I got through, had the issue solved and also got my retail me1 added at the same time.

Ok, my problem with the online pass was fixed, however I noticed another thing. Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC. From ashes. .... And i couldn´t access SP. Riiight. So another chat with online support. Helped. A little. He did some space magic, both SP and MP is working, however I got this msg instead:

Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC. Collector´s Edition Online Pass Entitlement.

EA support told me to contact them during the week via phone. My question. Since so far it appears there is no problem. Should i be worried? What Collector´s Edition Online Pass Entitlement do?

online pass comes in normal or collectors edition, so if you're getting that msg, you probably got given the wrong pass.

So I just got the same message.

I'm trying to do a live chat with EA help but nothing's happening (clicking the button but no new window or anything), is it because it's the weekend?

=/

Ah mother of God.

Just tried re-using my product code and it told me it's already been used, so the bloody thing *knows* I have an online pass. *smash keyboard*
