Might be able to get your feet wet in some gold runs but yes there is a certain level a player skill that is needed. Many times you are on your own and must be able to adapt quickly and kill enemies fast. I will be willing to try with you. If we have a solid group around you should be able to learn. I have brought several people who were silver players mainly and showed them the ropes. Some have even went on to solo platinum. :happy:

I'd be up for learning and earning, gmt on from 6pm till whenever. build as you want, all weapons at x and gear at v. Looks fun and mad at the same time!

I'll support Bechter herem before I met him I was a pathetic White/Geth/Gold noob. Then the speedrun vids came and I started trying to play aggressively, I think the attempts would've went horribly wrong had I not lucked out and landed in a PUG with him. I was one of Bech's, AreleX's and RELIX's first students because of it (that and accidentally insulting AreleX's video quality )

I watched invaderone's vid and tried once or twice unsuccessfuly (can never get 4 ppl on together who want to try). I'll be on in an hour or 2. Willing to learn. Have armored compartment V and lots of missiles. Competent gold player GT: etm125.

And thats how we coined the term Goosh. For all those new to Team AreleX shananigans 'getting gooshed" refers to any sync kill. Knowing this is actually more important than the actual strategies we will be running.

But looking through your build list, the Drell Assassin may well fit my playstyle.

I think I might practice with him over the next week or so, and maybe get in touch with you after I feel comfortable with him in Gold. I thought I'd ask a few questions before doing that.

I have Harrier I and Hurricane VI. I usually use a 25% dmg barrel + ULM on the Hurricane, and equip it with every class as my sidearm.

I don't usually use the Harrier, though. I tend to do well with my Sabre X, which I think isn't too much heavier, would that make an appropriate substitute for the Harrier? I usually use it with a scope (normal) and an AP mod.

I almost always play platinum and I have done Glacier speed runs with 4 GIs using Piranhas.

@Jeremiah: if you can consistently score headshot after headshot it might hold its own but its a dank slow weapon. Shame because I love the sound it makes.

The saber would be fine. Its not as good as the harrier for what were are trying to do. I can't aim though so I need my noob weapons like the Harrier. Headshots allude me.

About the mods i would go unscoped and use a ext magazine mod. For the hurricane i would use heat sink and damage barrel with using AP ammo. If using warp or incidinary ammo use the high velocity barrel. With the drell and tac cloak weapong weight isn't as much of a issue. You can loose the ultralight materials.
