It was a great video. It actually made me want to learn how to edit. I have all these crazy ideas in my head.
I learnt all about video editing when I first got my HD-PVR but I've only recently started to do interesting things. I did a few basic edits at first like
this (more recent one). The first proper editing job I did was putting together
this video when the original Team AreleX thread was locked, which while never being used in protest does give an interesting glimpse back at our early days.
My first 'project' idea that I had was to put together a compilation of my friends playing ME3 as a kind of thank you. Unfortunately most of the footage I had got corrupted and I ended up downloading old gameplay from my YouTube channel but the end result
still came out okay I think.
As proud as I am of the Eagle headshot video my favourite is still the classic
glitched defleshing one.
If you have ideas then get some editing software and just go for it, there's plenty of people around who can help you if you need it, plus the internet holds all knowledge. I've a couple of videos that I'm working on right now, a musical speedrun vid and also a guide for how to play a character that should be epic.
Edit: Something that bugs me about most ME3 videos is that they are all about being great, but are usually just whole games rather than being edited and cut down to actually tell the story of the game. That was the inspiration for this video that I made -
So Much Fail.
