a man has died, what guns aload of random people he didn't know use on a video game is extremely insignificant, my thoughts are with his friends and family but that is as far as it goes for me
Learn to read - he said that paying him a "tribute" by playing some game is insignificant (MP that doesn't even relate to him...). Guess that shows who's pathetic.
And I agree - the idea itself is good and noble, but realization is bad and inadequate.
Who appreciates this weekends Operation being a Tribute to Zaeed/Robin Sachs?

Why not play ME1 then? Or read a comic? Or watch Paragon Lost? Or read ME novels? Or put a candle on your window? Your thoughts are still with you, and those mentioned things also have nothing to do with this man. And - it does not involve increasing EA MP servers traffic. It's the thought that counts, just like any tribute. That this is multiplayer does not lessen it.

Lol.. who stopped you from doing those? Do if you wish! Besides, I'm pretty sure doing even those things would increase someone's profits, one way or the other.
As I see it:
Bioware tributes Robin: Selfish BioWare is selfish.
Doesn't tribute Robin: Bad BioWare is bad.
Sigh..

No one, you're correct. But I will tell you what stopped me with this "tribute". I do not play MP. So do a lot of those who appreciated Robin's work, across different settings.Lol.. who stopped you from doing those?
Zaeed was part of SP video game, so were most (if not all) of Robin's characters. But SP-players can not even be part of official BW tribute campaign. Sounds so very nice, huh?

You're right, those who don't play MP will be missing out. But... Maybe the upcoming DLC will be dedicated to him too, who knows. There isn't a rule that says someone can only be tributed once right?

That'd be me. As I see it, it's just one more N7 weekend challenge.
You want to make a lasting tribute? Fix the ish with the end so folks can remember all their characters with fondness...not bitterness.

You really think that it's a small number of all the BW fans? You're right, those who don't play MP will be missing out.
We know. It is confirmed that content was locked before it happened. And I'm not one to cry out "why could not they ignore lock and add more". I understand that "locked" means "locked". Best thing they possibly could do - frame his name in game credits and leave few lines of gratitude. And I really hope they will do so.But... Maybe the upcoming DLC will be dedicated to him too, who knows.
But that does not change things much, even a wallpaper with Robin's "collection" would have worked better. Because people wouldn't have a need to grind it on MP.
And also - this. A lot of MP-players may not even know what it was about, or simply do not care. That'd be me. As I see it, it's just one more N7 weekend challenge.
Hell of a tribute - people who care are cut from it, and people who do not care still take part.

Nope. Just an observation. MP does have a sizable following though.
Hell of a tribute - people who care are cut from it, and people who do not care still take part.
And then there are people who care and are taking part.

There's Tribute concerts, banquets etc.... Going by your logic, those are shallow as well, because you didn't take part in them and you could pay tribute in whatever way you want.
You few people do a bang-up job of demonstrating what sad little souls you are, complaining for the sake of complaining.....carry on.....I'm enjoying the ridiculousness. (P.s. your butthurt over the ending isn't quite obvious enough. Try harder)

People saying its a weak tribute because you "couldn't take part in it" are ridiculous and incorrect. You have a choice. You chose not to take part in it. Saying a weekend challenge that encourages using Zaeeds trademarks is "shallow" and then posing the question: "why not play ME1? Why not read a comic?", are all quite pathetic and laughable at the same time

I really respect Bioware for doing this. Sadly and Unfortunatley I didn't have the time to honor Robins death by doing this challenge. I feel sad as I wasn't able too.Mcfly616 wrote...

thats okay. Honor him by playing ME2 and using him on a bunch of missions. He'll also be appearing in the Citadel DLC.McFlurry598 wrote...
