 I have the PS3 version of the DA series and was wondering what is really the difference between the console and PC version of the games? I've been thinkinging of trying out the PC version.

Mods are the biggest difference.

Thanks for the reply. Now is the mods only through the tool set or mods like from Baldurs gate modding community where you can download them from the various modding forums?

There are some excellent Mods by the community, including quite a few that are unofficial patches that fix some bugs that the developers never got around to fixing, but each Modding Community tends to work with particular sets of tools. The "Aurora" engine that KotOR and NWN(1) used is different from what was used for NWN2, although both are related to each other.

DAO is built using a somewhat different engine and different modding tool. The principles are all similar. The largest of the Modding Communities among Bioware-oriented Modders is almost certainly still working with the NWN1 Toolset.

I think you'll find graphics look nicer on PC, but you'll have to get used to the mouse/keyboard

That's not to hard. I knew that origins was made and should've been played on the PC the way the combat was not console controller friendly lol

lo all i have lost my da game and the key to how can i play the game with out the cd as i got most of the dlc for it and it is on the pc version
