And what about teammates ? spawn in the other side of the map > mates rush and kill everything > you arrive and everything is dead > spawn on the other side of the map > etc

pugs aren't capable of doing this for the most part, and if you're playing with friends then you probably shouldn't play the Juggernaught if your team is built for spawn nuking or you know it will occur.

Not every character is going to be designed for spawn nuking, nor does every character need to be.

Some people find spawn nuking to be even more boring than the box of shame =P

Right, then wait and see :innocent:

Oh it'll get calls for buffs on the BSN because it wont be able to get record speed runs or nuke spawns.

People who play a very mobile style probably aren't going to like him, while people who play a less mobile style probably will.

So....just like how I do it with every other character because I think the pick-up / drop sprint tactic is extremely cheesy?

I do, but i'm afraid he's not enough mobile, even for a "less mobile" kit :/

We'll see.

The thread isn't about this stupid "clever use of game mechanics" :innocent:

How does the Juggernaut fit inside the Shuttle?

Rush spawns? On Platinum? Not in any PUGs I've ever done.

He'll probably be a boss for Platinum like the N7 Destroyer is for holding out an area and putting out mad DPS. Is the Destroyer the best for soloing? Irrelevant, the game isn't balanced for solo. If it were, the thread title should have been "Why isn't the Geth Juggernaut an Infiltrator?"

How does the Juggernaut fit inside the Shuttle?

He folds into a little Geth ball and his three teammates struggle to fit him aboard.

Not only objectives, but running around the map in general.  Running to different spawns, running to revive a teammate, staying with your squadmates.  Hopefully, it does have a little mobility though.  Try playing a game now and not run.

Nah, he folds up and fits on the back of a Salarian Infiltrator, just like a Black Widow.

No, he folds up the shuttle onto his back and flies away into the sunset, Optimus Prime-style.

Juggernaut is obviously just a novelty that will wear off.

Biotic Hammer shall endure.

This.

Yep, public games are now all run-and-gun-nuke-all-spawns.   Cover busting enemies and nerfs to "hold the line" powers has ensured that. Oh, and map edits.

May have something to do with MP beeing build around MP. Crazy thought I know

Actually, MP is built around SP.  It's the same mechanics without the puase button.  It's pause button mechnics without a pause button.

Game, set, match, post, thread.  Well done.  Made me laugh out loud.

So what, OP?

It's not like you were planning to solo Platinum with the guy.

I'm planning to solo platinum with all kits. One day maybe..

And it was stated in this thread that he'll have problems in team too.

Just pointing out you are complaining about the hypothetical situation that probably doesn't concern you (judging by your N7HQ you're not a soloist type) involving a character you don't know enough about to make a valid statement.

Geth Turret is confirmed, he almost certainly has Defense Matrix and Pulse Cannon is confirmed as well. Now with stunlocking geth all but removed, what are the chances that enemies might be resistant to similar forms of stunlock?

Nope. It won't have defense matrix.

Don't you understand "never seen before in SP / MP" ?

+ He sort of grabs a husk with a blue power on the juggernaut screen, and since it's not pulse canon obviously, the third power can't be defense matrix.

Do we have a source on the turret?  If it from this post: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/15964596/8, I believe that this was sarcasm.  As he also said that the pulse cannon would be a power.  They have carefully guarded the power assignments of the other classes, why be so blatant with this one?

The point of all of that is to say that, perhaps the defense matrix or what have you, will be the recycled power.

edit: I do not know how to move the link to Eric Fagnan's post, but it is nearly halfway down the page.

You know something that I am a bit surprised we've never seen? Is a kit with an interminably slow roll like when you wear heavy armor in Dark Souls.

Especially because geth turret isn't a new power. And if it was sarcasm, they would have said it.

^Volus don't count.

@thefool:

There's nothing to imply sarcasm unless you inferred it yourself. And why? It's his favorite kit.
