I'm sure we all have those likes, dislikes, and theories we don't see all that often on here... What are some of yours?

I didn't save the Destiny Ascension, but not necessarily because of human interests. I refused because we had a goddamn Reaper on the Citadel. I felt that every resource available should have been used to make that thing die at all costs.  I had no idea the choice was supposedly for human interests until I saw discussion about it here.

I like Jacob. He was just a chill dude, didn't say much becuase the talk was unnecessary.  I feel that his professionalism and focus on the mission were the driving force behind his character's behavior. I honestly think he just gets drowned out in all the buzz of relatively dramatic crewmates. His ...strange loyalty mission didn't help, either. Aside from that, he looks exactly like one of my cousins, which is nice. Felt like I was throwing biotic justice with him every time he was on the battlefields.

I also like James, as a character. I think his design was way over the top (muscles don't look like that wihout roids, Mr. Walking Tumor), but I felt like he was a picture of what Shepard was before he was thrown into the whole Reaper mess: a young, eager, capable and honorable soldier. He was a sole survivor like one of the options in ME1, and hell, he's even being considered for N7 service. I can definitely see an Anderson/Shepard relationship between Shepard and James.

AND HERE'S THE BIG ONE

I think the lack of screentime/scenes for some romances is fine and actually a good way to establish the frantic, scattering environment that war is. War isn't pretty. People die, and things need to be done. People can't put their responsiblities on hold for love. I understand that Jack needs to be elsewhere. She's the head of a very capable squad, but they need her. Miranda got PLENTY of screentime. She had things to do, was being chased down by arguably the most dangerous organization in the galaxy, and couldn't devote herself to your and her causes together. Every LI suddenly being able to conveniently galavant with you across the galaxy when it's very survival is at stake isn't very realistic. I do think that Jacob romancers got the shaft, though. Not because of screen time, but because ME2 spent time building him up as a guy of loyalty and integrity. Next thing you know, he's cheating and having baby mommas. ...Nah.

I didn't mind Allers. I kind of have a weird crush on Javik. I like endings that AREN'T destroy. I like Mass Effect 3.

I REGRET NOTHING.

I enjoyed Morinth and wanted more of her in ME3.

... 99% of people couldn't care less about her so I guess it's a pretty unsung/unpopular opinion.

Also, I love Control.

I partly agree with you! The combat/weapons/powers system in Mass Effect 3 was definitely the best and most polished. Multiplayer was very well done. I loved the music. And i know it's a bit nitpicky, but I was glad that I could finally walk around in public in casual wear, haha.

I do have reservations about the story and quest system, but hey. I enjoyed myself.

I don't think Saren or Sovereign are the great villains most people make them out to be.

I also find saving the Collector Base to be the better option.

Petrovski was awesome in the comic book series, but he had cripplingly little time in the actual mission. But yeah, that scene when Shepard tries to disables the power source for the barriers was pretty damn good, even if it lasted like 7 seconds.

Mine? ME3 was a Love Letter, not a slap in the face, to the long time fans of the series.

I liked Ashley. Not because my Shepard agreed with her xenophobia, but because I thought that she was realistic - both in terms of having a character like that on board, as humanity is still getting used to being around aliens and seeing them as equal partners, and also because of her backstory. I seem to encounter a fair bit of hostility towards her, but I thought she was very well portrayed.

I really like James too - much more to him than the 'Jersey Shore' insults suggest. And Jacob was perfectly likeable, though I didn't like the way FemShep talked to him.

I have never punched the reporter. In 7? playthroughs of the first two games, and 3 of ME3, never punched her. Never will, either. In a way, I sort of even hate that it's possible to punch her.

I don't loathe the endings anymore. Nothing to do with the EC, I just find myself becoming more and more okay with them as time goes by. Don't get me wrong, I usually throw 'oh, and a sucky ending' in to most comments I make about ME3 , more for self-preservation than anything else. But if I'm honest with myself, I'm okay with the whole thing, mostly.

My name is AllThatJazz ... and I really liked Mass Effect 3.

I honestly consider Refusal and Destroy the only real options. At least, those are the only two I would do if I was Shepard. The Reapers have been WAY too devious in the past, and I just can't find it in myself to trust them or the Catalyst.

If I had to choose between ME1 and ME3, I would pick ME3.

I liked dragon age 2.

I enjoyed omega's dlc.

I didn't hate the ending of mass effect 3, the original and the EC.

I don't care that much about romance content

Thane's deathscene was beautiful and I really loved it

Kai leng is cool (that's right, I said it)

I don't care about getting a harbinger dlc

I only play through mass effect 1 so many times becuase I neeed to grind and get a good save import for the real fun in mass effect 2 and 3.

I do not hate the developers.

Probably one of the top unpopular postrs here.

The thread is called unsung/unpopular opinions, I know for sure these are unpopular and I don't care. Then again, you can't stand people having their own opinions if they are not the same as yours.

Say that you like synthesis/control and you get annihilated by butthurt destroyers.

I liked Vega. I also liked Diana Allers as CHARACTER, although they should focus on Tali's face :/

I also think that VSs are right about not trusting Shepard after Horizon
